For people struggeling with the controls: you need to hold down a or d while scrolling.
Otherwise I can only agreee with earlier comments: It's an interesting (and as far as I've seen unique?) idea. I struggled at some point to solve the level, but that's on me I guess :D
Why the A and D controlls don't work ??
Fairly interesting game, definitely very unique. Would have liked some more sensitivity for the scroll whell, but otherwise the controls work really well and the levels are interesting. Well done! If you can, maybe also check out & rate Project Marble, my entry.
Lot of trial and error to get the right magnet to lock. Using the scroll wheel has a nice intuitive feel to it, though I don't know how happy I would be using that way for more than a few minutes at a time. I'd love a bit more precision in controlling how long the stick is between the magnets.
I don't why but I could move at all, even by pressing A or D has written in the tuto.
Unique idea! I really love the use of the scrolling wheel, as it's usually ignored in many games. I do have some problem though: sometimes my magnet would stuck inside the wall, and is it just me or is the screen size of the game is quite wrong? I also have some small suggestions: maybe let the player lock the magnet by clicking it, as I had some trouble distinguishing which magnet is which , and what do you think about adding even more magnets? The rest of the game is awesome, I love it!
Interesting concept, but my brain kept forgetting which magnet was attached to which button. It might seem strange, but literally placing A and D on them could reduce the barrier to play.
I consistently had the magnets clip through walls and bug out, but I understand that Jam games won't always be bug free. Cheers!
Very very interesting concept!
I feel like this is the type of game idea that very easily could become a full game. Super high potential for acceleration ramps, attracting other objects, 3-heads magnets, bridge building, movement in fluids, working with rotations, etc...
Sadly, the game itself is a bit empty right now, no sound effects nor musics, no pause menu, backgrounds are all the same... but I still enjoyed the game thanks to its originality and concept even if very hard to control, that's how you know it has great potential.
Also beware, we can VERY easily get inside of the walls!
Come back to this idea in a few years, this can 100% get some prize for most creative puzzle if done correctly.
You're on the good track!
Congrats on finishing the Jam and good luck for next time!
