I really like the art, but I can't handle the controls very well.

Developer(+2)

Me neither...

I don't know if I'm just bad or the game is hard.  I always switched toaster and mixer commands. My highscore was 10.
I liked the artwork.

It is definitely really hard. At the start My colleague and I were scoring around 10 points on average as well. Your brain needs to keep track of two objects at once and the fact that shooting with one character messes up your position on the other is something that it only slowly gets better at.

Our music guy had this crazy unachievable score of 55 which was unbeaten until yesterday, where I got all the way up to 60 :D

The art was great! My brain just can’t, however.

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you so much! Give your brain some well-deserved rest.. I don't think this is a thing brains were made for...

Cool artwork -- I can't play because I'm on a Mac, but I like the crisp visuals.

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot! We were also really happy with how the visual style turned out.

Submitted(+2)

I found the concept really interesting, great stuff.

Developer

Nice! Thanks a lot :)

The game is quite difficult, and very innovative, and even the artstyle is nice but i don’t see anything that makes the game interesting to play.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

That's a fair critique! I wonder, if we were to continue development, what would make a game like this more interesting? A kind of progression system?

Submitted(+1)

Currently, it’s just an endless wave game. I’m not sure that the premise (moving with one character to shoot with the other) would even make for that good of a game, because, as i see it, you are encouraged to use the controls to shoot normally. (maybe more interactions between the two players / different player abilities), that would certainly be interesting to play.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, encouraging players in some way to keep the characters apart would be step 1.

I hope I have a friend here to play with me. TUT

It seems a bit difficult for me.

I love the machines in your game, they are cute~

Developer

Thank you :)

so hard to control haha. I liked the art and ambience. the link between the two players could be something more than a life indicator.

Developer (2 edits)

Thanks for playing! Well the link is that they share controls :)

Just curious: what was your highscore?

Submitted(+1)

5  ={

Developer (1 edit)

Hey that's my partners highscore as well! Our music guy reached 55 and I can't even imagine how he did that.... :O

Submitted(+1)

one thing that I noticed is that if you stack the two characters one top of each other you can kindaaa control them w the same input. But ive failed miserably anyway x)

Developer(+1)

True! But then heat seeking enemies will find you faster ;)
Our music guy said he had the most success having each character in an opposing corner.

Makes sense!
Hey good luck w the jam and awesome job! =) congrats for the team!

Developer

Same to you! I will check out your game as well once I have worked off my queue :) I saw this was your first time using a game engine? Looks great!

Thanks! ^^ we'd love feedback!
Yeah, everybody downloaded a game engine for the very first time.  I have no idea how we managed to finish on time. T T
