This is how I imagine the daily life of a marriage counsellor, attempting to facilitate love between two obviously incompatible people whilst dodging crossbow bolts fired by eligible zombies.

In all seriousness though this is a really impressive game for a 48 hour jam, especially the art which must have taken a lot of effort. I love the polish and detail on the spritework, the church scene in particular is really beautiful. I like the original game mechanics and I think it'd be really cool to see a full story mode following the tragic plight of a lonely cupid surrounded by his successful matches but with no love to call his own. Great job!

This is a well polished game with a humorous story line, and well drawn pixel art, and the photos at the end of each round were particularly sweet. The difficulty curve sits nicely between: not too easy and not too hard; which is valuable in a game jam, because if it’s too hard I will just move on out of frustration, and if it’s too easy I’ll move on because it either stayed easy for the remainder of the game or it didn’t ramp up the difficulty soon enough.

The final boss was great fun, but it would have been nice to do something other than just avoid them the whole time, as they were pretty easy to weave around. Perhaps give them more projectiles and faster movement, minions or obstacles?

The only other improvement to make is more levels, but the number you provided is well above my expectations or what others should expect of a 48-hour game jam. If you wanted to do more polish and a couple more levels outside the time pressure, then I’m certain people would fall in love with this game, particularly if you introduce new rules for the bonds mechanic as the game progresses.

Overall, a great entry into the jam. I would be surprised if you didn’t make it into the top 100. Excellent work all!

Very nice. Very round game.

Very good game mechanics idea, which including the obstacles (monsters) made it even better. And the monsters are targets as well, thats good.

I like that you match anybody and that the wedding dress and the suit can be on anybody.

Very very good graphics.

xD Oh my god this was too cute! I like that you can just marry off anyone to anyone,  it made some of the pictures really funny and adorable.  I had a whole inner dialogue going on xD

Great game with so much polish and amazing art! I really liked having a reflection on Level 1. And also a nice concept, there are few games that use the same concept, but this one presents a polished experience

There is so much polish in everything here, it's amazing!! Even small details like the reflection on the ground inside the church add so much. The bonding mechanic itself is also super original! Well done!!!
