Do you have a an explanation of how this works, I didn't really know what to do, but it looks great
Hey, thanks for playing our game. We appreciate the feedback, one of the big things we want to improve is communicating how to play to the player. The idea is you mine rune ores with the space key. Once you have the ores you can craft new runes over at the crafting table. To craft, click on one of the runes, one click crafts one rune. You can turn in the runes to the patrons in the shop, they'll let you know if you have enough runes. We're going to take the time to improve this game after the ratings period for the jam, it isn't in a state we wanted to leave it in.
So first of all, I really like your art style. The pixel art characters read very well and they have nice flavor to them. Unfortunately, this game is rather buggy. I flew out of the right door into an endless void of nothingness, and then tried the left door after a restart only to find that my mining pick doesn't seem to do anything.
Good job working so hard on the game jam! Do you have plans to develop it further?
Thank you for your feedback! This was our first Game Jam and won't be our last! As for Dwarf Miners development process. We are currently still making more additions to the game to make it more fleshed out and fix issues that may have occurred. We appreciate your support and hopefully soon we will have Dwarf Miner fully developed in soon time. Thanks! 😊
