How does your game fit the theme?
In Babel you have to "join together" a bunch of different humanoid characters, which can be attached to one other in several different ways to build you own tower to the top of the level. Every humanoid has a weight, which it applies in different points: you have to think strategically where to put every character, unless it will fall!

This was interesting, but since there didn't seem to be a goal (seems from below comments like maybe the screen was supposed to scroll?) I did just kind of fizzle out and stop playing.  I thought maybe the "water line" that went up the screen was an indicator of how much time I had left or something before doom, but it didn't seem that way.
At any rate this is definitely interesting even if the mechanics kind of went over my head for now!  Thank you for the experience.  Cheers ^_^

Nice concept, I didn't fully understand what was the main goal and the line that appears on the screen (At some point it became bugged and didn't move again) With a little more polish of the UI and explanation of the game it can be real awesome! Kudos on your submission, great game and fits the theme well :)

This is a neat game! Definitely a really unique take on theme, and I love the art.

Great concept, if the screen scrolled up, I think this would have been a really neat little game. Love the art as well very unique.

Hi! Thanks! Yeah, we had in fact several problems with the screen scrolling mechanic, but we're happy to hear that you like our concept!

Cool idea, couldn't tell if it was sandbox or level based tbh. Think this game could have benefited with more direction or a progression arc.

Hi! Thanks for your comment! We neither were 100% sure of what could be the best game facility... but don't worry! We are thinking about keep going with the development, for at least fix all the bugs this build currently has.

Really cool. The art style was awesome, and the mechanics work well. It's annoying that the "buildingfolks" in the inventory appear on top of the folks in the level, and it's hard to know how much weight a piece can hold.

Hi! Thanks for your comment and your feedback! The art was inspired from the works of Keith Haring, while concerning your point about the position of the inventory, we agree with you, and we'll think about a better UX for that!

Really cool art style, reminds me of something but I can't put my finger on it

The whole "make a tower out of things" mechanic isn't new but it's interesting to see it not actually be done with physics

Hi! Thanks for you comment! Yeah, for the art style we took inspiration from the works of Keith Haring, if you are still wondering...

This was an enjoyable game, the screen never moved up so I never completed a level but I did manage to fill the screen with balancing characters which was very satisfying. The red dots to show how the characters anchor was great, really intuitive and satisfying. Well done

Developer

Hi! Thank you very much for you appreciation! We love that you had a good time while playing Babel, even if you found that bug. Hoping to fix it and make it better in the future.

Hi! Thanks for your comment and feedback. If we decide to proceed with the development, we'll of course make a more clear UX for both the inventory and the weight calculation.
