I was excited to play this just because the thumbnails looked so interesting. It reminds me of that iOS kingdoms game a bit. I really do like the concept but without any satisfying feedback it was hard to stay engaged. Some feedback and reaction to the players choices would go a long ways to making the game feel more like a game. Love the art. Thanks for sharing!
Will a little more engaging mechanics this game would be perfect! Great art and very orginal!
It has really good art direction. The game was lacking something interesting to happen, something more than just balancing numbers. But the setting was great, some "story/events" were interesting and sometimes it was nice to decide what to do in my turn.
I like the medieval look of this game. The art is great. And props for making a turn-based strategy, those games are rare in jams.
Other than that, I think you need a few more mechanics to make the game engaging. Right now, you're just collecting stats. It would be good if you could spend those points to construct stuff and grow your empire.
Unique artstyle and very fun to play. The rewards being bifferent depending on whether you are an ally or in war with another kingdom show how well-balanced this is. Good job!
Very interesting, the art looks appropriate for the setting. Maybe adding a little more options or risks, given by random numbers or encounters with more options would make things a lot more interesting. Overall great game!
Well done. Lots of potential to be a deep but accessible strategic experience. Could be interesting to add some progression markers (levels/achievements if you reach certain resource milestones) or the ability to dismiss/request tasks so the player can min/max their resources more (for example, if you would like to increase your gold, you could spend a resource like reputation to generate a gold-bearing task). Definitely a ton of possibilities. Would love to see this concept fleshed out more :)
This is really cool! Like a bit of a cross between Crusader Kings and Dominion in a way! I dig both those games! The art is beautiful and everything feels very cohesive! There were a few small problems with the UI, I couldn't always click on the 'ignore' option but I think it is very very minor and I would love to see this become a bigger game post jam! Really great job!
I love the art and the atmosphere for the game! I would have only liked to have a few more choices, on a lot of screens I was presented with the same two choices, one of them being on a different card and had minor issues with your text labels (the one on the top was hidden without full screen, but the other ones were slightly misplaced in full screen). But overall really good work on this game, it was a really interesting experience!
This reminds me of Sort The Court, great concept & great execution. I like the visuals too, if you decide to continue development, I think you can add more visual variation to keep people more engaged, maybe add some visual feedback on some of the choices the player make.
Regardless, amazing work! :)
Pretty nice concept!
Interesting concept, took a bit long to actually deal with all the kingdoms.
Great game, as others have said the Ignore option on cards looked clickable, but once I realized how you actually play it was a great game that took lots of careful thinking and planning.
It took me a second to realise that the cards that I didn't click counted as 'ignore', but once I properly understood how the game worked it was very fun.
I enjoyed having to make decisions that got tougher and tougher as the game went on. The renaissance art style really worked for this game as well. Well done!
Very creative game for this theme. I like these civilization games so this was pretty cool.
Interesting game and very different from what i played so far, great effort! Some criticism would be that i did not feel as the choices were that impactful and had be to thought through. In one playthrough I could spam click one kingdom without looking and only sometimes click another to balance my resources. Other than that great submission!
nice music at the end screen.
a really cool politicking game
great job
The feel of this game is very nice. It conveys very well the experience of managing complex politics. Managed to win by killing one kingdom and allying the others. Well done!
Great concept, I can see myself playing the game alot if it was more fleshed out, obviously what you have achieved in just two days though is great (I managed to win by allying with everyone).
