How does your game fit the theme?
In Fudge, instead of placing falling tetrominoes, you carve them out of a block of tiles. It's a kind of supratetris; what happens before or above the tetris screen.

Very creative. I like the thought
As an absolute tetris fanatic I was so glued on winning -- however I found it hard as it's very randomized and all luck based and I felt a bit frustrated with that. I think being able to rotate the pieces would give the player more agency -- Also are there straight vertical pieces? I was only spawning in horizontals which I couldn't use and ended up getting these very looong lines of cubes that only a vertical line could get rid of. Overall, neat concept a very casual take on a usually stress inducing classic haha!
Nice simple game!
I think that this game relies too much on the randomizing of pieces, which I think becomes a problem for skilled play. Most of this game is luck at getting the correct pieces, since nothing else you have works.
It took awhile to get adjusted to how this game works, getting the "Tetris eyes" and being able to see what goes where without thinking took a bit. But, I wasn't ever really able to think multiple steps ahead quickly, and it was a slow process.
Its interesting to see how the pieces value change when you change the game like this. Line pieces become much more a hinderance then a blessing. I also found the 2x2 cube to be the most useful block.
I think the main thing to fix here, the difference between "You CANT do anything" Vs. "You could've done better" In actual Tetris, you cant never not place something, it is simply where you place it that determines who is good and who is not. Sometimes, within this you just cant do anything at all.
Despite all of this, I just kept playing it. Even though I had determined that getting a full clear was just a matter of insane luck rather than skill, I kept trying to get it for 10 minutes. I think that this shows how close this game is to being a really good, simple, addicting game (like Tetris).
Maybe a feature of rotating pieces could help with this, but I think that the actual answers to this problem may be a bit fundamental. But, nothing that a creative mind cant solve.
I really think that this is a few steps away from being a very good game.
Visuals were nice a clean. The nice animated background goes a long way to presentation.
Nice work! Excited to see if this gets expanded!
This is a nice little relaxing game with just one issue. Actually trying to fully clear the board is nearly impossible due to the random nature of the reroll system. I tried for the better part of half an hour, I was really determined to finish, but the lowest I got was 3. It's still nice, but knowing the board can't be cleared without insane luck is a little demoralizing. I'm not sure how you'd fix it, but if you could figure out a way it would complete the experience and be much more enjoyable. It's still very satisfying and cozy as it is however. Great Job!
We need more cozy games like this these days. Good job, I had fun!
Nice idea, loved the "difficulty" of the puzzle! I didn't 100% get how the point is calculated, I relaly enjoy overall! Nice job!
Very creative. I think have some sort of multi-select option would make thinks more fast paced. Like dragging over blocks with the mouse, instead of clicking each individually.
I agree with the previous comments--fun, creative, super cute, and sadly wayyyyy too easy to get stuck. Being able to reroll was great, but it would be even better if you could rotate! But I still really enjoyed the idea:)
Fun, creative, easy to get stuck, at least for me. As another said, would love to rotate pieces. That horizontal line is killer. But definitely a good'un
Awesome idea and great implementation! Although imo this would be way better if you were able to rotate the pieces.
This was a very nice game. I enjoyed it!
