Hey great work on this! Rough around the edges, but the core mechanics seem solid and I think you've done a great job.

Developer

Appreciate it! It is rough indeed, but I think we have some options on places to take it.

Thanks for playing!

This ones a lot of fun, with a nice simple concept and good visuals/music!
The main flaw here is the bugs,

-Level 3 can be beaten by placing a single block 2 tiles to the right and 2 tiles up of the cliff edge.
-You can clip the player out of the map by placing blocks on top of him before pressing the play button.
-Using the clipping bug you can beat level 5 without starting the level.

I had fun with the base game, and discovering these was fun but thought I should mention them.

Overall fun game!

Thanks! Yeah, there were a lot of bugs that we just didn't have time to get working. If we were to continue with this, a rework of the player movement/collision is first priority.

Thanks for playing!

Nice idea! I think some variety in the blocks would've helped a lot, and the inconsistent AI movement meant the levels were more trial-and-error than just planning out a route. But I'd love to see more levels!

Developer

Thank you! We had ideas for many blocks, but time constraints caught up with us and we had to cut all but one of them, unfortunately. If we end up cleaning this up and doing something with it, adding more blocks and levels is a major part of that.

Nice game overall! Keep it up

Loved the idea and art style! and relaxing music on top of it really made it feel nice to play! I did feel like the puzzles were really simple and having to select each level individual rather then it just switching to that level was tedious. and I beat level 4 without placing any blocks down.

Overall great job!!

Appreciate the comment! Due to some issues the actual puzzle design/testing got pushed way towards the end of the development, so most of the levels are first iteration unfortunately. The ability to switch seamlessly to next level is something I plan to add in an update post-jam, because I do agree it is incredibly tedious.

Thanks for playing!

Cool idea! I liked building the level as it was playing for some dynamic action there. I wish there were more levels too!

Developer

Thanks for playing! The building of the level as it was playing is actually an unintended bug lol, but I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Very chill music, I actually did the first 2 levels without pressing play lol, I realized later on that there was a play button I was flinging them with physics haha. It's a fun game I really enjoyed it,

Developer(+1)

Ah yeah lol, we figured out in last minute playtesting that the player could just start moving due to the physics and couldn't fix it. That's good to know though, a tutorial or something that explains the play button would be a good idea.

Thanks!

I really loved the aesthetic of this game! The player was a little finicky at times but it was a lot of fun!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yeah, we had some issues getting the player working as well as we would have liked, lol.
