Nice art style! I felt a little lost at times with the gameplay. I think there's definitely a cool idea here, but either some balance or additional information on how things work would have done a lot. Still, great wokr!

Nice concept! The latter few questions seemed to require specific knowledge of a meme, or to really take a wild guess. Otherwise, it was fun to try and puzzle out the solutions. Great work!

Fun, compact experience! It's the perfect length, and it has a very nice art style and mechanics. Great job!

Sorry to hear it did that. Any chance you could let me know what your resolution was so I can figure out why it happened and fix it? Thanks.

Oh, I should add controls to the description. You can rotate the placement with 'R'

Yes, agreed. I only had 3 hours to work on it so it made bug fixing difficult. I spent some more time to hopefully have it be more playable. Thanks for playing!

Thanks!

Appreciate it! Yeah, I took some extra time to iron out some bugs. I might come back and expand the game some more later. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the comment! I totally agree that a lot of it is broken. I've gone in and spent another hour to fix some of the bugs. Hopefully it is now a better experience.

Interesting game! It's really easy to corner yourself, so there is definitely some forward thinking required in this game. Great job!

Thanks! Yeah, I wanted to add more enemy types to try and introduce more strategy /challenge into the movement, but with only 3 hours it wasn't feasible. I'm working on adding more difficulty now for an updated, post-jam version.

Thanks for the comment!

Great point! I've implemented that in my newest build and it seems to be working decently well.

Thanks for the comment and for playing!

I had a few levels where it spawned me floating so I just fell straight to death. The concept is interesting though, good job!

Great aesthetic choices! The concept is super simple at its core but it works really well. Good job!

Fun game! Some of the modifiers seemed a bit unfair (I had a -20% block go off at <10% so it didn't seem like there was a way to win that time. Could have just been me though.) Anyway, love the music and sfx. Good job!

Nice! Very chill game. The concept is simple but it really works in its favor, along side the music and sfx. Good job!

The art is nice! It's definitely hard to tell when a picture has been taken, as some other people have mentioned. But yeah, this would be perfect as a minigame. Good job!

Cool game. Never been much into Match 3's but I enjoyed this one well enough. It seemed a little too easy to get matches though.

Cool game! It gets a little difficult to keep up with the information, but it was fun.

Really love the art and music. It does get difficult to determine which are the rich later on, but overall a fun game!

Fun, polished concept! The visuals and sound were very good. I do wish in the gameplay department there was a little more strategy to it (maybe chain electricity? Get a whole line of moths going and chain them?)

Overall, great job!

Appreciate it! It is rough indeed, but I think we have some options on places to take it.

Thanks for playing!

(1 edit)

Thanks for playing!

Thank you! We had ideas for many blocks, but time constraints caught up with us and we had to cut all but one of them, unfortunately. If we end up cleaning this up and doing something with it, adding more blocks and levels is a major part of that.

Thanks! Yeah, there were a lot of bugs that we just didn't have time to get working. If we were to continue with this, a rework of the player movement/collision is first priority.

Thanks for playing!

Appreciate the comment! Due to some issues the actual puzzle design/testing got pushed way towards the end of the development, so most of the levels are first iteration unfortunately. The ability to switch seamlessly to next level is something I plan to add in an update post-jam, because I do agree it is incredibly tedious.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing! The building of the level as it was playing is actually an unintended bug lol, but I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Great idea! The gameplay is fun, albeit maybe a bit too easy on easy, and what seems like quite a jump to medium. But, the mechanics and aesthetics overall are awesome!

Nice! Fun mechanics and good presentation!

Very fun! The puzzles were engaging and fun to figure out, and it never felt like there were any unfair difficulty spikes.

Nice art, wasn't aware I could pick up pots until I had died a few times (should've read the controls, I know. Wasn't sure if you can win or not.

Good job.

Nice game! It felt harder than the game that inspired it, but it was still fun.

Cool idea! At first I thought that just dodging wasn't that much of a role reversal, but once I was in control of spawning I got what you were going for. Good job!

I really like the character art. The game concept is interesting but kind of hard to figure out at the very beginning.

Also, I had a bug where every time I clicked on an option it would add a +22 Intelligence sprite to my screen. Not sure if I was actually getting all that intelligence or not though, lol.

Ok, this is incredible. Great job!

The  art is incredible, the music and sound is great. The gameplay aspect is lacking but in the context of the game it makes sense. Also the character moves so slow, and it's both frustrating and funny so it kind of works out.

I had no idea what to expect going into this, and I was delightfully surprised! The paladin bursting in and the immediate terror you feel as you flee is wonderfully done. The game is a bit short, but it does what it set out to do well. Good job!

Very fun game! The variety of things you could add was nice and the platforming felt good! I like the aesthetic too!

I never imagined a jpeg of a cow with a hat would make me uncomfortable. Good job!

I really love this idea. It's a fun, simple loop that manages to keep itself engaging.

It does feel a bit like the difficulty ramp is too harsh, and I think that's because there is almost no way to augment your health. This makes the second area boss seem impossible (I still havent beaten it). Maybe adding armor as drops to increase your health could help balance this out?

It also took me way too long to realize you could rotate items, which adds another dimension to it.

Incredible job!
