How does your game fit the theme?
In Must've Been the Wind you play as a guard who is about to be unknowingly attacked by ninjas. We thought this fit the theme well because it's rare to play as a guard in most games.

This is very impressive work for 48 hours.  It seems like you bit off a little more than you could chew in that time.  I could see this being really fun with a little more time in the oven.

I haven't left a rating yet because I don't think I was able to give it a fair shot. I seem to run into an issue where right away, I can only equip but not put away or charge my lantern? So I'm not really sure on what to do or how to progress.

I absolutely adore this game's presentation! The art style is gorgeous, particularly in regards to the menu and the UI, but also the 3d models! The music is also phenomenal, despite the occasional audio glitch (the main menu theme doesn't loop properly).

However, this game is sorely lacking in the challenge department. The ninjas all have predictable AI, they are extremely noticeable, and there are only three of them (one of which consistently gets stuck on a tree)! Outside of the times where I intentionally ignored the ninjas in order to admire the scenery, I found it impossible to lose.

With all that said, I would love to see this game developed further. Turn the ninjas into a genuine threat, one with multiple ways of sneaking around you. Provide an actual gameplay reason to explore the environment, maybe by giving the player multiple points to defend? This game has immense potential, and that potential deserves to be fulfilled.

A great idea. Surprised to see settings on the menu, but I needed a sensitivity setting. It was way too low and I can't turn my mouse any higher than it is already (I normally have high sensitivity settings).

I was a little unsure what to do when finding people, and didn't see how to charge the lantern till late and I'm not sure it really made much difference. The lighting is hard and it only lights up a small area, if it does something with catching people, then I guess I missed it because I was out of fuel (or "charge") right away - couldn't turn it back off so it just emptied itself from one click.

I was surprised how much area there was to explore, but didn't see much reason to leave the treasure. Going anywhere else feels like something will just come by behind your back and game over you randomly (which is how the game ended for me too, when I went trying to chase and ran out of stamina, and just looked around a bit, finally finding something to charge the lantern).

The controls thing on the menu is the strangest way of describing WASD first person controls I've ever seen though, lol.

The assets of this game, art and music all work together well and look nice. Good work!
