Cool game, loved the aesthetic, wish the "player" had better gun placement though lmao

The idea of being completely at the mercy of an AI commander hoping it makes good building decisions is quite amusing to me. It just kept making more machine guns that I can't use lol.

Anyway, I think this idea has potential, but it needs a little something more to engage the player as a lot of the time you're looking in one direction holding down fire. There also isn't really much counter-play to simultaneous streams of enemies. Perhaps those both could be solved by just making the enemies way weaker and more spread out. Alternatively, maybe after exiting a gun it could continue to fire for some amount of time in the direction you were last aiming at so you could actually take advantage of the 20 machine guns your AI commander builds...

Overall though, a great looking and feeling game, good job!

Too much for my poor pc, sorry

Nice! Ambitious!

I also felt that maintaining spatial awareness was challenging. Maybe a mini map would be something to look into?

Also, rar files are annoying on Windows I'd stick with zip ;)

Developer

Hey, Thank you for playing!

A Mini Map is a great idea, I will try to include it in the post-jam build and some other indicators for the waves.

And for the .rar file haha I will have to change that too ^^

This was a cool game.

My only issue was that it was too hard to tell where enemies were coming from and what path they were taking. That plus the fact that the player built mostly machine guns early on made it really easy to get overwhelemed.

Developer

Certainly, there is a bit of balancing left to do ^^ Making it clearer where enemies spawn and which path they go along is a good idea! Thank you for playing, and thank you for the constructive criticism.

I can't run it because it's too demanding

Developer

Sorry to hear that. I tested and thought it was fine :/ Making an options Menu should be higher on my priority list. Thank you!
