How does your game fit the theme?
You begin playing as a duckling where you protect the "monument" or "statue" and after a certain interval, the roles are reversed - you are now the statue and the duckling tries to protect you from the monsters. This will continue to happen at each interval until you lose.

Hi, I am on a mission to play all the fellow “duck” games of the jam!

Sooo… On my first attempt, I got to wave 8. On my second attempt… I didn’t lose. I don’t know how to lose! I am over wave 100, I have more money than I can spend, and even if I don’t play, the Duck’s AI cleans everything up in 15 seconds. So maybe I broke the game and and maybe being smart about the upgrades you get (spear ftw) gets you to the point that you scale way faster than the enemies. But it was a lot of fun. Very satisfying (and a bit of a power trip) to see how much better I get at mowing down enemies. Would love to see more variety to the gameplay (and maybe some balancing)! Great job!

It's a really neat game and the controls are very well done, it feels great to play. I think a think the resource generation rate could be tweaked, I found during a lot of my statue turns I didn't buy anything because I couldn't afford any of the cards, maybe just a bad case of RNG. The sprites and animations look superb tho, great job!

i HATE those pterodactyls that take zero knockback

cool game though I like how versatile the spear is.

love the idea!  For me it’s was very fun a bit the Ai a bit buggy but overall nice game !

This was sooo addicting. It was simple, yet fun and reminds me a lot of vampire survivors. The ducks is super cute. The only problem was maybe the ai sometimes would freeze allowing a flying guy to get past and the upgrades after a while get repetitive, but both issues are pretty forgivable considering the time frame. I did have to force myself to quit though because of how addicting this was.

Such a fun and addicting idea! I liked that I could focus on the upgrades bit while the AI handled all the attacking for me

Is that an Adventure Zone: Amnesty reference? Anyway, very fun game; love the art.

The game itself was very fun to play, but the duck's AI messed me up. Other than that I enjoyed the game myself, good job.

The art is really good, and combat is very satisfying. I think I would like to have more control while I'm the statue, when I didn't have money there wasn't anything to do except wait.
