I felt pretty weak defending myself, I wasn't sure if I was acutally doing anything with my traps. More than understand the last minute balancing changes.
If I could place items next to each other, it would open a whole new dimension of ideas how to protect my dungeon. But the fun is still starting once you got enough money.
agree the item placement limitation is unfortunately quite limiting! Didn't have enough time to solve how to avoid softlocks/cheese strategies (like being able to block off the exit with walls/holes), so I had to put it in as a quick fix. Thanks for checking it out!
Interesting idea! I will admit that the restriction of being unable to place objects adjacent to other objects limits a lot of potential and, there doesn't exactly to be a way to "win"? (since there seems to be no reward for delaying the intruder)
Anyways, I think the graphics and the SFX were really well made and I liked the animation of the characters.
Nice entry!
surprisingly the game is winnable by destroying the intruder, but the fight over balancing was a struggle in the last hours, will small changes making it extremely easy or extremely difficult to win. Unfortunately it ended up with the intruder being pretty overtuned and the spawned enemies being undertuned, so it is pretty hard to get a win without some good luck. Thanks for checking it out!
Seems like a interesting idea but could use a tutorial or a overview of how to play(you can edit the submission page after the end I think)
yup, am hoping to get a moment soon to finish the page with screenshots, description etc. Thanks for checking it out regardless of it's current bare bones page!
