Good art and music. The gameplay is really fun and easy to understand. Great job.
Original idea and veery fast paced straight into action, I like that :D The only thing for the future - it would be much easier for a player if the player character would have some highlight/glow/other color than the enemies, because at the beginning of every round you now need a couple of seconds to understand who is who :) About the presentation, everything was there - coherent art style, animations, original music and sounds, that is for the big plus. Overall, one of the best game I’ve played in this game jam so far :D
Very funny game. A little feedback -Needs to have a pause between levels, needs some intro story and change the short attack (make it a little bit longer). You did a great job!
Seems like a bit of a tenuous fit, and not always very well balanced, but good for some short fun.
Very enjoyment game! But sword and fist weapon add spike in difficulty, maybe some increase his hitboxes
I actually really liked where you're going with this. Needs to have a pause between levels, and some sort of health system. Getting 1-hit-K.O'd before I even know what the enemy is using is not fun.
Neat game! Love the unique take on the theme. Couple comments
- The start of the game was a little abrasive to me - I died before I could grasp the controls or rea the UI. Would be nice to have a button to start the game after you see your character and can get your bearings.
- Some feedback for when you get hit would help a lot - it took me a while to realize I even had more than 1 hp, because I didn't realize I was taking damage.
- Being a melee character against multiple enemies feels rough, I think the player could use some balancing so for specific combos (such as slo-mo melee, oof) they aren't just game ending. Feels like the player doesn't have a lot of agency to make go far, even if they are very skilled.
That being said, I think the concept is novel and with a few balancing tweaks and maybe some more mechanics (maybe different arenas?) this could really go somewhere!
