Cool idea & good implementation! I only wish the turret would play to its strengths and keep their distance.
great game! the mechanic is easy to understand and the gameplay is a reverse tower defense , in which there are limited defense assets to stop the hero/enemy, this has good replay value, overall I enjoyed playing ! keep it up!
Nice work! I found myself wishing the turrets would stay where I put them so I could keep the Walnuts in front. Feels bad to spend 60 on a turret that gets immediately 1-hit. Maybe some turrets/items that modify William's mobility could add to the strategy! :)
I like the overall concept, If the robots could shoot across gaps that would be great. I'd also love to see William have way more health, but also take way more damage.
Ultimately, if you add any feature at all... Perhaps consider keeping William targeted onto the first thing he locks on. It would have been nice to place a Walnut 9000 and have the turret get a few mores shots in.
Nice take on the theme!
Interesting gameplay but a little difficult for me. I kept getting the hero down to 60ish health and then loosing. But a fun idea overall!
Isn`t working for me also :(
YEah sorry about that! have no idea why web version does that! if you can download the windows version that one works!
The game is stuck at "Loading game for the first time..." for me too.
Yeah! we thought this was an itch problem! if you can try to windows version download it may work there!
The windows build works. I've seen quite a few games with the same problem too in this jam, hopefully it'll be fixed soon from itch. It sucks to have to deal with it.
I like the concept of spawning enemies while the player navigates a maze. It is kind of weird for the ranged enemies to try to hug the player, I'd rather them stop if they're in range of the player. That would let me build up to save and stack a walnut and the ranged enemies.
The game is also pretty tough. I think starting from a small map and gradually increasing in size would be nice.
Unfortunately the project didnt load for me, it was stuck at "loading the game for the first time" for over 10 minutes. If there anything different I can do to test it out, please let me know! The idea looks really interesting
