I don't know if your game's role reversal is within the theme in my country since our city officials are so corrupt that they destroy the city instead of fixing it. Lol. Kidding aside, the concept was very well thought out and complex. Great job!
Great game, and really well-balanced!
Took me a few minutes to understand the win/loss states, but once I had a grasp of it, it was really fun trying to balance everything, really cool idea!
I loved it! The concept is really cool and it was well executed. I instantly got game over in the first few runs after mindlessly clicking on cards, but I understood it once I noticed the resources thing and actually read them. I surprisingly got it first try after that, and only then noticed the days were limited to 20. I decided to get a second win and it actually took quite a few tries, but I beat it and it was really fun. The manual could have shown up at the start though, I only noticed it was there after the second win, though it's definitely a good thing it's intuitive enough that I figured the game out by itself in little time. Great game!
I love strategy card games so this is right up my alley! I got confused my first few runs though before I discovered the tutorial button, I feel like it would be much better if that automatically popped up on your first run.
It also feels a bit hard to read what you have, I like the art style you went with but it obfuscates your town a little bit I feel. Could also use a note on each of the resources about what your daily change is.
Overall this idea is great and I would love to see it expanded and polished into a full game. Reminds me a little bit of Stacklands so maybe look into that for inspiration. Great work!
This game was really fun! I've never been more bent on destroying humanity. It's really tough but rewarding to keep all the resources in check. Great work!
