How does your game fit the theme?
My game fits the theme of "Roles Reversed" because instead of playing the platformer in the game, you design and build the controller for the player playing the platformer.

Did your team create the vast majority of the art during the 48 hours?

No

We used pre-existing art

Did your team create the vast majority of the music during the 48 hours?

Yes

We created the vast majority of the music during the game jam

It is a great concept and a great execution. The only problem I found was that after some time waiting for the AI to go through the level was just tedious, which is why I didn't finish it. I suggest making the AI quicker or even better adding a skip or fast forward button so that you don't have to wait for it to reach the next point.

Great concept! This was very fun to play, would love to see more expansion for this.

Nice concept! Good job!

Cool idea but it has a few flaws.
- The AI is slow as hell :D
- You can waste all your money accidentally by pressing on the colors. I was pressing on the colors to see a preview of them but it just instantly took my money without a confirm button
- As others have stated it would have been awesome if you could run through the level itself and also map the buttons to the actions you need yourself without the game telling you every step
- The faster transfer upgrade makes the controller response time slower

Developer

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback, I just wanted to clarify: a lower response time is a faster response!

Oh yeah makes sense. I was thinking of it as: Higher Value = Better hahaha

I really like the idea here - I wish that I could be the one playtesting the level though instead of the AI doing it, it'd be neat to be able to run through the level with my hodgepodged controller.

Yeah, I thought about that, but I also thought that it would make the game fit the theme of Roles Reversed a lot less, since you would still be playing a game like normal. I totally might do a little expansion of the concept later on and add that, it would be fun.

I totally get that, for theming it definitely makes sense

The visuals are really cool, and the music is super good and very fitting! Love the presentation. The gameplay was interesting, and definitely a cool concept, but I felt like I had very little choice when designing my controller. I also got softlocked because I didn't choose the correct items and had to restart from the beginning. Other then those couple of things, it was really cool! Great work!

Hey! Just to clarify for anyone who might be wondering, the portion of art that was made as part of the jam is about 65%, so most of it, but not the vast majority :)
