A creative idea and it feels good just casually playing the game! (the movement and polish) Cool idea :D

A great flip of the stealth game. it's everything Sneak King wishes it could be.

Couldn't tell what the lose condition was, but I kept failing. still a great concept for a 48hr jam!

Developer

Thank you! Regarding the losing condition, it triggers at the end of a timer if the player did not scare all the NPCs. The timer is hidden, instead the night changes into the morning through the windows up in the UI.

BUT the timer is too short (90 sec), and even though I could do it within ~80 seconds, I forgot that (1) I knew the level very well because I designed it and (2) since the timer is hidden, there is no sense of urgency. I think it is a good example of the developers’ “curse of knowledge” ^^’

I will definitely correct that after the jam’s voting period ends!

The sound effects are awesome! There is a bug where some walls render in front of the player character which makes it look weird, but other than that I like the art and the game overall. Great job!

Developer

Thank you! Yes, I did some mistakes with the layout of the tilemap towards the end of the jam. I can’t wait to fix it!
