Really beautiful game, and cool idea too! I found it very calming to try and work through the options to identify a cheater/glitch

Developer

Thanks for the kind words! We're happy to hear that you've enjoyed our game!

10/10 reminds me of papers please but more fun and less stressfu

Developer(+1)

Thank you! This game was, indeed, inspired by Papers Please.

The main menu is so cute!

Unfortunately, in a game that requires so much attention, bugs that hide whatever sprite we needed to see to decide if there was cheating going on made the experience kinda frustrating.

I do appreciate the work put into the visuals, especially the UI. Very smooth animations and sound!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately, the sprite spawn code was literally made 10 minutes before the end of the Jam, so I didn't had time to test it out. Bug, that makes request window not appear was caused by that exact code, by the way. I will definitely make an update, that fixes most of the problems, however, to do it I'll need to rewrite the whole request generation code, as it is very messy, so I'm not sure when exactly it will come out.

Super cool concept!! Would love to see it expanded on in the future (:

Developer

Thanks a lot! We will try to make something more out of this game in the future!

Real good! this genre makes my head hurt though. Sound effects and visuals were nice as well. I didn't play long so I don't know if something happens later on - but I could not realize what was the purpose of the little levels on the island

Thanks for the feedback! Sometimes you would get a request, that requires you to see initiator and subject on the level. For example: sometimes you would get an AttackEnemy request, that requires you to see the player and the enemy on the level. If they're next to each other, then it's fine, but if they're standing far away from each other, then the player is a cheater. I'm will probably add some kind of tutorial for these kinds of things if this game ever receives a big update.

I loved the visuals. The game stopped working for me after the first cheating analysis, but the first time I did it it was pretty fun and challenging! Thank you for the game!

Developer

Thank you! Again, as it says in the description of the game, it's a known bug, and unfortunately it's also pretty frequent. I will definitely fix this as soon as the Jam voting period ends.

Based on other comments, I'm assuming this is a bug local to me: After only two or three reports, the game just stops progressing? No more reports will come in, and nothing will show up in any of the areas. Otherwise, the audio and spritework are fantastic!

Developer

Thanks for the kind words! Yes, I'm aware of this problem and, unfortunately it's a pretty frequent bug. The only way to fix this is to restart the game and hope that it won't happen again (But it probably will, because it has a ~10% chance of occuring). Definitely going to fix it when the Jam ends.

Really cute game game, I loved the art, literally clicked on it 'cause of the cover image... game really reminded me of Papers Please, I must admit I had a tough time of it... but still good idea :)

Developer

Thanks for the comment! Papers Please actually was an inspiration for this game. I'm going to try making instructions more intuitive if this game ever receives a big update.
