A fun idea! Knife to a gunfight / gun to a knifefight was a really funny premise, and it was hilarious switching to knife and suddenly being on turbo hard mode.
Would be cool if there were more incentive to switch forms though - in particular, limiting the ammo of your gun, forcing you to switch to knife and take down some tough enemies to replenish it, really seems like a cool idea to me.
Presentation was solid too, the game looked and felt good to play. Good work!
such an interesting and creative concept really well done and the music is great. As im sure you already know there were some bugs. And I do wish there was a little more depth. The mechanics you had were great and I just wanted *more* of this amazing game. Awesome job.
Funny idea to have guns holding knifes and knifes holding guns! The game's visuals are neat and polished, great job on that!
I tried both gameplays, and while having a gun is overkill, it's nearly impossible to win when being with a knife against guns, isn't it?
Also I had infinite ammos, not sure if it was intended (maybe having to switch to get some ammos could be interesting?).
Found some bugs:
- I died killed by a knife, then the hit sound played in loop infinitely
- Sometimes when holding a gun, it stops working for a few seconds for no apparent reason, and then it works again
Hey, thanks for playing and for the feedback. As far I am aware of, we have more than just some bugs and will be fixing all major bugs in the updated version. As for the ammo, I made it so that it automatically reloads after running out of bullets (ofc this was not made obvious so we will fix that aswell) and the infinite ammo was intentional, but I'll consider reworking that.
Oh wow, I went into this without looking up any of the information and I was super surprised when I pressed E and suddenly turned into a gun holding a knife haha!
The theme on this is really creative, guns holding knives and knives holding guns? absolutely genius!
Pretty clever mechanic and the art is beautiful especially the background particles!
The music is really fitting too, this game feels very polished :]
I felt that playing as the “knife holding the gun” was a bit overpowered and I didn’t have a lot of reasons to swap to the gun holding the knife, maybe having the enemies not change but rather have manually placed as either type would be better and forcing the player to swap between the different types to kill them would be better!

nice game, it had lots of problems like you cant see the emmo there is lots of invisble walls that souldnt be there and the game is easy good effort tho
fun game, looks nice but the tilemap is pretty distracting, and not clear when a game runs out of ammo or when you can use it again, but overall good game
Great game. I liked the interpretation of the theme. The art and the sound effects were very nice. Would be cool if when switching I would also switch the HP. Overall a nice game. Well done.
Good game, the art is so good, and i like how the theme is applied, very original
I like the take on the theme and I think the art is really solid, I just wish there were some more variety. Right now you outrange all of the enemies a lot so it'd be nice if there were other enemies that had a long range like you do.

Cool concept!! game play was pretty fun, but i wish it was more satisying when landing a bullet/kill (maybe add fx or screen shake? idk)
It was a fun little game! But sometimes I got random bits of knockback, but overall, great job!!
