Fun idea, would like to see a bit more visual representation, perhaps an indication of what rooms are movable, but a very cool concept that I would like to see be developed further. Great job!
Thanks! Yes, I'm planning on developing it further, fixing the issues, etc., soon!
First impression was atmospheric, but took a bit to understand the controls. The hero didn't want to walk across the bridges, and at first I thought it was a gap somewhere until I figured out you could direct the player.
It would be cool to see more branching ideas where there is a risk vs reward with xp and health. or maybe some puzzle elements.
I liked the setting. It felt a bit like the old game heart of darkness with the gloomy atmosphere.
Thank you for the review! I'm gonna fix these issues for sure, as I couldn't fix them in time for the jam.
Yes, I really want to go in that atmospheric direction later on, and develop the risk/reward elements.
nice concept !
Thanks!
Interesting idea. Could be more fun with more puzzles and obstacles/enemies. the XP system might be unneeded to keep the feel and fun of the game. Great job, could def be a great time waster on mobile!
Thanks! Yeah, I want to include this aspect in further development.
Would love to see more if this wasn't a 48 hour jam! Interesting mechanics for sure.
Thanks! I really want to expand the project.
I like the idea and it was satisfying to connect the rooms.
But I don't understand why you control the rooms and the character. Also, the lack of a visual indicator to show which rooms you can grab and when you are allowed to grab them led to some mild frustration.
I enjoyed the style of it! Hope you had fun making it!
Thanks for the review! Yeah, if I had more time I may have fixed some issues, but I'm gonna fix them some day anyway. It was a lot of fun, especially because it was my first game jam, and first "finished" game I think!
Neat idea! Lots of cool directions you could take with different rooms and rpg elements.
Thanks! Definitely gonna work more on it
