How does your game fit the theme?
Reverse Snake - the roles of the arcade classic Snake are reversed! Snakes will periodically spawn and chase after you. Try to outmaneuver them and get them to eat their own tails! You may even discover some sneaky tricks... Points are scored for each snake you defeat. Be careful though, you have limited lives!

Cool little Game. Quite challenging. It is really hard to "kill" the snakes. Maybe less snakes which get quicker longer would be option to try. Oh I like the simple art style!
Hey thanks! And good call on the difficulty - I want to do a post-jam version with some tuning of the spawn rate, and play with length. Also I'm curious to find a way to make the snake behavior feel a bit more understandable.

This is so addicting! Such a simple concept but really well refined, I like how the AI is balanced to be juke-able but they're not extremely easy to trick either.
This was tooooo much fun! Such an ingenius idea! I love how you have to move in such a way to kill the snakes, but that also puts you in danger. With a but more polish this game would be awesome - really well done!

Starts of difficult but once I realized I can move through and stay on the snakes body, things got interesting. Would have been nice if the fox moved automatically similar to the classic Snake cause It gets painful to keep moving the fox by tapping the key over and over again. Other than that, a solid entry!
Now there are two of them! man that got out of hand way faster than I thought it would
I had a blast riding on snakes for as long as possible to get them to crash. At first I was having a hard time figuring out how to get them to collide, but wow, things ramp up quickly. Real fun little game!

Really nice game submission! I would have loved to have 9 lives so to fit the cat theme haha. Maybe next game you can feature a young and hip cow like my self! The game felt very polished! Excellent job!
Jesus if i play another reverse snake game that takes me by surprise again by being really original im giong to lose it lol. Love this man, was not expecting the multiple snakes but it makes the game really feel dynamic and engaging! great work!

Our twist of the theme is that a critic tries to play your unfinished game, and you fight from inside the computer to make him like it.
That was super fun! I like that you get points for killing the snakes, it means the longer you last the faster you get points. I got to 52! I think some little power ups that randomly spawn like a speed boost or an invincibility where you can kill snakes for a couple seconds would be awesome! great game
52! Nice! That's higher than my best score! Thanks for the feedback. With more time I would like to add a sort of pacman powerup that gives you a window to eat snakes. I might try it out post-jam. Might lean into the snake riding a bit more too haha.
I liked the gameplay, but was confused when I saw you can actually go over the snakes body, would love to see that explained in game :)
Nice little game, it was actually quite head-scratching having to think about how to trap the snakes rather after all these years of doing the opposite.
