How does your game fit the theme?
The game has the player "build" a tower, then "scale" it, with building materials that are dragon scales, in search of a magical artifact that will let him grow larger. So scaling a tower by building with scales in order to find a way to change one's scale.

A tetris platformaer? First time I've seen that. What a cool concept. I agree with the comment that it could have been nice to be eased into all of the different tiles. But it was easy enough to understand what was good and what was dangerous from the sprites alone.
Yep! That's definitely something we want to do if we continue to work on it, like adding sort of an adventure mode that introduces blocks and more complications in addition to having an endless mode that drops you right in.
Very fun game! I enjoyed it! An improved Tetris! I don't know if it was just my screen, but It was a very tiny screen! It would be much better to play it on full screen. Having that in mind, the letters were too small and had no contrast! Improving that could enhance playability and the readability of the controls menu. Also, I'd include a tiny hint with the controls and type of tiles, but it's just a matter of opinion.
You should be able to fullscreen the game with the maximize window button in the title bar. The Tome of Knowledge from the title screen shows the controls and tile types. :)
This game is so fun but boy am I bad at it haha! I love the art style and the music is super cute. I really liked the tome of knowledge to help explain how to play. Also I think using dragon "Scales" is a super fun twist on the theme!
I like the art style, it's a fun and creative twist of Tetris.
The concept is SUPER COOL.
But IMO all different blocks + the dual gameplay can be a little intimidating/overwhelming.
It might be interesting to start with simple blocks and add more and more different blocks as you progress through the game.
Well done !
I wanted to make a scaling difficulty system, but due to time constraints, nothing ever came of it... Glad you enjoyed it!!!
wow!
