Whoops - sorry about the name clash! Yours definitely fits the name better haha.
Fish seem to be a common theme (I am also guilty), but this is by far the most unique take on it I've come across so far. Awesome work, simple yet effective. My only critique is that the more I ploughed into the speed of the auto-descaler, the less accurate it became; not ideal.
Still, a very interesting idle game that benefits from having no real motivation other than seeing numbers go up! Congratulations on the submission.
Pretty cool little fish clicker idle game with cool upgrades!
This game is a bit fishy, but I still liked it. Well done.
This was such a zen & satisfying game! Definitely put my trackpad skills to work. Love the crispy sound design, and the art is so cute, especially the little blush when you complete a fish! 𓆝 𓆟 𓆞
Love this, however I got the descaler high enough to instanly descale the fish, it was really satisfying... for the two seconds before it crashed my entire computer XD
Really cool game! The gameplay loop is simple, but addictive. Only downside is the framerate drop at the end and the fact that there are only two types of fish to scale — other than that, really solid concept, with amazing art!
Solid game. Found myself playing for a good long while until the framerate started dropping, but really addictive and creative idle game. Good job!
Great game, super addictive! The gameplay loop is pretty tight and rewarding, you nailed it!
Really good! It's so satifying, and the fishes are pretty cute. ^-^ There is a performance issue, but even so, I could enjoy it! And I love those games that you upgrade your factory and get more money. >:D
It was an oddly satisfying game. Had a good laugh with the interpretation of the theme. The moment when you first start feeling that you got efficient in scaling was great. Once the game was totally automatized and wouldn't stop scaling was a bit frightening and the framerate dropped...so I just assumed you win the game like you win tetris... wait for it to crash (I didn't wait). It was fun :)
Simple and satisfying gameplay. I enjoyed the beginning where my scaler was weak, so I had to put some effort to scale the fish. The game could benefit from more fish variation.
That was so satisfying and enjoyable! Didn't know scaling fish could be that fun!
It's such a great take on a theme. I wish there were more types of fish.
Very addicting, we also made a fish descaling game so really cool to see another take on it. I really enjoy the more factorio / cookie clicker upgrade game-play and building out my factory to be maxed out. Eventually the descaler can just fully scale the max level fish. Really really fun !
The scaling feels satisfying and glad the fish enjoy it too
I like the spin on the theme, fish scaling is kinda gross but the fish blushing made it all better.
average dad simulator
Removing scales was really satisfying in the same way picking a scab is (sorry if that's gross) but I really enjoyed it! It was also fun seeing how fast the scaler could get. Also, the fish are super cute.
This was the most incredible experience I have ever had. I wish for more fish. I found out also at a certain point if you upgrade the speed of the automatic fish scaler, it would miss several scales.
Loved this and will now play this for hours
This was the most incredible experience
Great game! I love the cutesy art style with the satisfying feeling of descaling fish. The only issues I have with this are that the game can lag a lot the further you get into the game (probably an issue with the scales) and the game doesn't have much challenge to it; I think if you can fix those two things, this game would be perfect! Keep up the good work!
You are correct, the performance issues are stemming from the scales.
I wanted to fix the issues but I didn't have enough time to, it would have needed a rewrite of the scales/collision detection.
