How does your game fit the theme?
The game is about an cyclops and a gnome escaping a magical prison, they have to work together to scale down a mountain towards the escape boat! It’ll be a prison escape puzzle game where you have to switch between 2 characters (the ogre and the other one a gnome) to solve puzzles. You’re scaling a mountain… well.. opposite scaling? Going down.. And the ogre is too big for the environment but the gnome quite the opposite, very small and can go in a lot more places..hence scale With a more literal connection to the theme.

Interesting character and puzzle designs with a very fitting cautionary BGM!

Developer

Neat ideas here! The camera seeing through the ways is a really cool effect. I respawned after getting caught and it put me between two closed so I couldn't move :(

Developer

Awh no!! I never had that happen :( We'll see if we can get someone on that asap!
and yeah the camera was a bit tricky but it ended up being okay :)

Ya ngl does not fit the theme. AT ALL.

Developer

Could you explain why it does not fit the theme in a constructive manner? that way the team can see where we might have missed out on the thematic aspect of the game.

I don't know if it was just my computer being bad but the game was so laggy, also while I like how the game looks (minus the lag) it isn't really in theme at all. They're not scaling anything.

Developer

I feel sorry for your lag, we had some issues on the project during development causing lag in the editor aswell and weren't able to fix it in time. Besides that I'd love if you put this into constructive feedback so the team can see where we might've missed out on certain aspects in the game!

I'm sure if my computer was better it would've been way more fun. The art style and the wall removing effect were really nice just taxing. How did you do the wall removing effect btw? It looks like magic to me

Developer(+1)

We looked at how BG3 made it and we applied ambient occlusion to the camera :D

The art is beautiful and it feels good switching between the characters. The ogre felt way too slow though.

Developer

We'll note down that the ogre felt too slow- thank you for your feedback :)
