i'm a sucker for the synthwave retro style, it looks really nice!! the game is simple but unique imo and definetly has potential! but i think upgrading the music would make this game better ;)

PLEASE PROVIDE WITH THE MUSIC!

It's really hard for me to see exactly where I am but I still try again and again for I really want to konw what the music will be like in late game lol.

Thank you for making this game! a new idea for synthwave game ( I hope  I name it right OTL )

hahahahahahahhaha thanks a lot! it was done by bruno (@miphos) on pico-8 ! ๐Ÿ™€
He also did a cool thing that changes the music according to your shape while you play, but we had to remove it in the webgl version ๐Ÿ˜…

The idea was good, and the style of the game was incredible. The only thing I have found with this types of games, is that the perspective of the camera does not help when you have to go through an obstacle on the side of the screen. In either case, really nice endless runner, I had a good time playing it.

Developer

thanks a lot for the review! We struggled to make the perspective of the camera the best possible, but it really is a tricky thing in this genre. A issue we also had was the first wall hiding the next one until very late, depending on the perspective, so we tried to balance between the two things. I'm glad you had a nice time!

Great idea! Wish it was a lil more forgiving to play haha

Great game. Nice retro vibe with the combination of music and aesthetics. A simple idea, very well executed.

The vibe is neat and the sense of progression given by the evolving music track actually made me want to play it again and again.

This game reinvents the genre, not only by avoiding the obstacles that come, but it's also necessary to change your shape to match the scale of the narrow passageways.

The developer shows great creativity, and this game should have the attention it deserves by everyone who knows how to appreciate both what is retro and what is new.

Interesting approach! I like the idea a lot, think it could be good for further development.
