i love the concept, great game
i rated you game 5stars each please rate my game (nice game btw <3)
The game both looks and plays very clean, and I do enjoy puzzle games that gives you multiple ways to reach the solution! Also really enjoyed the little detail that the blocks you held were still physical objects that could collide with the placed blocks, as it made for fun situations were the pieces I had placed disabled me from being able to move certain pieces from the right to the left side of the screen. Nice with extra consequences of ones actions! All i would want is like others have mentioned more levels hahah. But overall very well done! :D
Cool and tough game that really fits the theme! The visuals are very nice! I kept accidentally letting go of my block and it would fall offscreen haha!
Really interesting take on the theme! The game is a bit short, but it looks like there is a potential for a cool puzzle game!
Nice concept and fun gameplay! The piece-change-color didn't work for me (all my pieces were red) but somehow I was able to add more pieces.
This is a really cute concept with well-executed mechanics! I liked the green/red boxes guiding you in your building process and challenging you to scale accordingly. I do wish there was more content, because it feels like things end right when they've gotten interesting; perhaps an endless mode of some sort with a goal of building as high as possible could've increased replayability. Overall, though, super fun time!
Thanks for your feedback :D I unfortunately ended to implement the mechanics about one hour before the deadline for the 48h challenge, so I did not have enough time to implement more “levels”. I plan on improving the build during the next weeks though n.n
I love building castles 👷♂️🏗️! It’s a bit buggy, but I really like the concept!
Really funny how you had an idea kind of similar to my game but with with a cute design, more polish, and an additional gameplay mechanic with a puzzle dimension (you even seem to have the same bug as me with the camera being too high preventing the player to see the ground passed a certain height xD). Really cool game but also really difficult, I couldn't beat level 4, my castle was always toppled :(
I am using firefox on linux so I could not try your game t.t
The camera going too high is more of a design mistake than an actual bug, I think it could be solved by allowing the player to freely move around the scene.
My main problem is the fact that blocks slowly slides on top of each others causing the tower to topple without actual mistakes from the player. I saw that you used your own engine, did you encountered this kind of problem?
too bad lol. For the sliding part I added friction to solve the problem, maybe check out if you can assign materials to your objects and edit a friction parameter.
Yeah, I added friction but it did not solved it. Ended up forcing the velocity and angular velocity to 0 whenever it is below a certain minimum velocity and it fixed it :)
I love the idea and the overall look. I wish there were more levels! The logo's amazing.
cool game!
Very very cool! 3.5/10 from me :)
Took me some time to figure out what to do, but it was nice. It looks great
Yeah this game is dope. It also taught me patience. I unfortunately kept having the issue of blocks slowly sliding off flat surfaces until they toppled, but that could be fixed. Definitely a great concept that allows you to be creative, great job!
Yes, I used Unity’s rigidbody and couldn’t find a way to avoid this slow sliding, it is frustrating hahaha
Did you use PhysicsMaterial to increase the surface friction?
neeeaaaat! i really like these type of cozy building games! id love a lil tutorial at the start of what the made a block valid or not- took me some time to figure it out!
I liked it a lot! You could use it as a sandbox to craft scenes for other games!
