Nice take on the theme, and the writing is funny.
However, the tutorial was too fast for me. Perhaps pausing at certain stages and waiting for a click or a button press would work better.
Somewhat related to that, I think the amount of item the client wants should probably be always shown unless forgetting it was part of the design. Otherwise, I would cut a wrong amount, receive some complaints in my face, have to cut again but then I don’t see how much.
Regarding the cutting mechanic itself, it would be convenient to be able to cut a piece multiple times if, for example, it’s still too big after the first attempt.
Good job!
P.S. Why is the window so tiny?
Deducted from my paycheck?! That is some shady business right there. The in-game tutorial was really well-made. But I'll give my resignation tomorrow. I was terrible at cutting the sausage and cheese.
Well... it was something, that's for sure... I don't relay know what I'm doing here so I guess that's that... I think the game need polish, and a lot of it!!
Streamed today!!
i loved the concept of the game but it was full of bugs. i hope you complete the game with more items, no bugs, and maybe add some audio. Good luck.
While the idea is nice, the cutting mechanic was frustrating, felt buggy sometimes. Also, giving the total sausage/cheese to customer makes them happy, which even if it is meaningful, removes the challenge.
Need better graphics.
The cutting was frustrating, seems like it's broken if you ever measure the food beforehand. I would make some kind of dotted lines to show where the knife currently is on drag.
Cool idea, but I got stuck when a customer told me I gave them the wrong amount and I couldn't remember what they actually wanted
