I read the full description after playing the game, I wish it was in the game cause it’s quite fundamental. I love the idea, I wish I had more vision over what happens. Still a good job nonetheless!
This is very cool, great job!
fantastic game! had a great time making my minis look as absolutely atrocious as i could! very in-depth for a game made in 4 days
Thank you!
Very creative, yet I can't really figure out what the different units are supposed to differently. The spearman seems to be the best unit?
I did manage to beat the factory though, so I must have been doing something right.
Each unit has a different skill and keyword. I ran out of time to add the proper descriptions for the keywords but they are as follows:
Spearman hits on 3+ and moves faster than the other units.
Knight hits on 5+ and has a chance to block successful hits.
Squire hits on 6s and gives units within a radius of 3 +1 to hit.
The Doctor hits on 5+ and has a chance to block a unit within 3 of dying.
Adventuer hits on 4+ and runs away after attacking.
The units certainly aren't as balanced as I'd like them to be and I'd say you are very correct in saying spearman is the best unit.
I am glad you enjoyed it though, and congratulations on beating the game!
This was the most creative use of the theme i've seen so far, so charming. Good work! (painting the model is so satisfying, liked this part so much)
Painting was certainly my favourite part to make, I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
I'd love to play this, I love me Warhammer Fantasy I do, but I can't seem to get past the "Today is the most important day of your life" screen... am I supposed to click something? Funnily enough I think my screen resolution is messing with the scale of the GUI, I can't see any buttons or anything, and pressing random keys on my keyboard does nothing either...
There is meant to be a button on the bottom right, I must have messed up the anchoring on GUI sorry. Once the jam is over I'll be posting an update to it if you are willing to hang around and try it again then! =)
No worries, I know the feeling - for some unhinged reason I made my entire game out of GUI elements when I don't have a strong grasp on GUI anchoring, so I just had to say screw it and force my game into a small window, lol. Definitely will stick around for the post-jam update!
