Sometimes it behaves a bit weird when I move my mouse too quickly. Parts connect to the station without being connected to it. But overall it's pretty nice! I like the way the game zooms in to give you space and it's very satisfying to see your structure getting bigger and bigger.
Thanks for the feedback!
The first time the game zoomed out I let out an "ooooooOOOOO nice"! Good take on the theme, solid presentation and polish. The sound effect of collecting "scientific apparatus" did get repetitive though
Thanks for playing! I tried making different random pitches for the sound to shake things up but I understand that even that has a limit!
Wow, cool game! I really liked that you can sacrifice parts of your station to destroy the red blocks, which allows you to fix your mistakes, if you end up with an inconvenient shape; and also how quickly things spiral out of control if at some point your station is destroyed too much
Funny you mention it, initially the red blocks were indestructible, but after some play testing I realized that without it, the player was completely left to chance.
Thanks for playing!
Very solid entry -- you stuck to the theme very well. The game ran smoothly, the objectives were clear, and it was very satisfying to grow that spaceship up haha.
Thanks for playing! Your station looks solid! 😄
Very nice visual style and ambiance with the music! It obviously feels a bit unfinished (although leaps and bounds beyond what I managed) but the idea seems nice and I am interested in where more you would take this!
I had some follow up ideas for another artifact types and whatnot, but I decided to wrap it up and avoid scope creep -- the life in a game jam I suppose. Thanks for playing!
