How does your game fit the theme?
The player is a cartographer of procedurally generated levels. As a cartographer you draw maps that are a "built to scale" representation of the actual levels.

Fun game with a interesting concept. It's nice to see how manage 3d into a map
A very interesting concept with a nice mechanical interpretation of the literal theme. Unfortunately (for me) being able to take screenshots kind of defeated the fun and sure it's cheating and I could just not do it, but I dunno I guess it's just one of those things where knowing it's possible makes it less thrilling :P
The camera was a bit wonky for me, but most everything worked the way I felt it should. Great entry!
cool game, but why is the door 2 blocks wide and the map is 5 wide, which part of the door is the centre.
Thanks for the comment! The door is actually 4 blocks wide, and is always represented as that on the map! Also the map size varies from job to job and it is random when generated but the door spawns at the same spot every time!
“This is the door, it’s just a door” gotta be the best joke of the jam lol.
I really liked the concept for your game! For some reason I couldn’t get it to work on the web version.
But from the screenshots and description I see its a really cool and original concept!
Web is the worst thing in the world, we changed like 40 things to get it to work and it is still not working properly... thanks for the review!
"It's just a door" don't do my door dirty like that man :(
Jokes aside though, this is one of my dream concepts. It was a bit hard to understand how to draw the map accurately at first, but once I got used to it it was genuinely entertaining!
A bit of criticism, there are no item descriptions (damn you squeaky boots!) and I couldn't quite get the battery as well. I've finished around 5 maps and the battery didn't seem to go down at all. And couple of times my movement stayed inactive after I interacted with the bag or the map and closed their windows. I was able to fix it by pausing the game and clicking the continue button though, so no big deal.
Overall, I think this is one of the most enjoyable games in this jam, so well done! Maybe a bit of handholding an this game will work like a charm.
Seems cool but i couldn't figure out how to pass the first level
Sorry to hear that! I would love to hear why you couldn't figure out how to play! It would be a really good feedback for us!
The main goal is to map the random level that is generated as you select a job, leave through the door to enter the dungeon and try to draw what you are seeing! When you think you are done, hand in the map to your boss, and they will tell you if you did it right. If so, you will be rewarded with some cash and you can start the loop over!
Thanks for playing and for leaving a comment! Again, we would love a more precise feedback, and that you gave it another try later!
Ah ok i gave it another try, its a cool concept :)
Cool stuff! I like the mapping element and its assets
