Great game, different enemies are interesting and the game keeps you engaged, loved the stats screen. I didn't know I was collecting fish scales until I was told, I assumed maybe ammo. I would say that the gun sound gets a bit repetitive, so maybe add a randomness to the pitch? But overall really enjoyable well done.

movements a little janky in my opinion, but the game runs really smoothly! we had similar game ideas and I like your take on the theme.
How do you think the movement could be improved for future projects? Is it too slippery? I'm curious to hear what you think.
yeah it is a little slippery, and the slipperyness does not match the high friction when you stop moving. My advice is to add some more responsiveness with the movement and maybe add some slide when you let go of a key.
Love the funky little art style. Can't figure out how to open the shop, though! Let me know so I can test it fully!
