Fun game. I enjoyed gameplay.
The effects are nice! Especially the pause menu. Maybe you could have made it so the hp projectiles could turn enemies into allies, so you could scale up an army.

Extremely underrated game. It’s well polished and the controls feel really nice. Great job!
What could be better than cells with guns?!1! The gameplay is satisfying and fun, but get's repetitive quite quickly. The SMG is the goat tho fr fr. The sfx, screen shake and high score is quite satisfying which is neat. It would be cool if the enemies spawned in waves and you had some power-ups that could change the gameplay a bit because so far I found that the most optimal strat is to just circle around the edge of the map while holding down the left mouse button. That way you can pick up cells on your next lap and get larger and larger as enemy bullet ai aims at your previous position from what I can tell.
Overall the game was quite enjoyable and well done on having a completed product! Best of luck in the jam :))
It's really difficult with a trackpad. I will have to come back and play it again later. It feels like the size mechanic is taped on to a normal shooter game.
