Cool concept, very well implemented with a cohesive, nervous style! Really well done :D
YYIIIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
The controls are good and the scaling effects feels really satisfying. I wish there was a checkpoint every 2 or 3 levels though lol
I wanted it to be a lil difficult bc it was going to be speedruned sooner or later (also i'm too lazy to program that type shi)
Thx for ur comment!
Really good visuals and effects. I would have liked if I didn't start back at square one each time I died, but the controls were tight and well tuned.
Just wanted to add a tough challenge! (nah jk it was just easier to code that way [im lazy asf ik]) but since i had only 3 levels, might as well crank the difficulty a bit xD
Really fun challenging platformer ! I very much dig the level designs you've put here. Yes, they are frustrating but i found the challenges neat. Not to mention how crisp the SFX and visuals are. Overall, really well done !
I've spent too long on this game... Glad you like it! Thx for ur comment I appreciate it
Really good game, i loved speedrunning it and the controlls feels very nice :)
Tysm! Smooth player controls + gameplay feel overall was my go to for this game :)
Nice work, gamefeel is nice, retro style works very well, cute clunky robot^^
(Funnily enough, mine's called Scalable SAM :D I wonder if they're others out there !)
I really appreciate your comment! (PS. sam and bob might be friends xD)
Awesome take on the theme! Nice job!
I took this gamejam opportunity to mess with the engine as much as I could. I'm now more motivated to pursue learning than ever!
The game was really cool. The player movement felt nice. The effects were awesome. Dying felt very punishing because I had to redo all of that, but maybe that's just the style of this game, so no problem. The sawblades were spinning too fast that you couldn't see the original sprite anymore. Maybe that's because I have 144hz display, I don't know.
(took the picture from my phone because it's how it's displayed, so a screenshot wouldn't work because it would pause on a specific frame)
Also, you might want to turn off antialiasing on the font so it is more in theme with the pixel art.
All in all, great game!
:D
The sawblade spun well on my pc (but im at 60hz so i shouldve accounted for higher hz). And yes the frustration of the game i have achieved well :)
Overall, thx for ur feedback xD
