Neat and simple idea! I really like the art. I had a few shrooms spawn almost on top of me so that could be tweaked. Overall good job!

While I'm not a fan of the player's movements and the limited view for the player, I love the art for this game!

Fun game, mechanics are simple but is well polished! my advice would be that the map is probably too small, you reach the boundaries a bit too quickly, as someone else mentioned before slightly slowing down enemy speed would make it easir to prepare for attacks. Good job! :D

A sweet little game. I don't have too much feedback, I enjoyed my time. I particularly liked the movement mechanics.

Nice little game, I had fun to play it!

Nice and simple :) Great that you involved your kids. Great job!

Really fun and polished game! Tho it's a bit annoying that the goombas can spawn right next to you, but other then that, really nice!

Interesting take on the theme! Challenging but fun, and I love the visual style, great work overall!

Really nice art and a solid core concept with the scaling bullets. I would recommend zooming the camera out a little bit and possibly slowing the enemy movement slightly. Currently, there is not enough time to react to incoming enemies by moving, so the dominant strategy is to stay in one place and shoot. But this is a great start, so keep polishing and iterating on it and I'm sure the final project will be great!

+1 on this comment. Great game, good art, just needs a bit more work on the gameplay. Great effort Developer.

Very interesting how the tank movement is done; it feels very realistic and adds a good level of difficulty to the game as you try to aim at the enemies with the mouse. I liked that the enemies are Goombas xD (be careful with Nintendo; using their characters can be risky, hahaha just kidding). The art of the ground is also very nice.

Audio selection is good, the visuals are nice and shooting enemies is very fun. The movement controls could be improved, for example the A and D keys move you left or right instead of turning left or right, but they work well in their current state.

The game was fun, with nice music and art style :) The tank movement felt a bit disorientating and I couldn't really tell the difference at what things to shoot so I had fun just running away and shooting haha because things also spawned very fast, added some danger :) But it felt good!

Nice concept and gameplay, wished you moved a bit faster or enemies slower, it's very easy for them to just drag you around, but I like it overall, and appreciate that the Tank does move like a tank, great job!

Very nice art! It would be nice to have an arrow or something at the front of the tank to help orient the players sense of direction.

I like how which enemies are harmless change over time, keeping you on your toes. This has a good potential to bring about a risk/reward element where you have to choose between getting rid of the dangerous enemies vs trying to upgrade your bullet. To further improve the game, my suggestion would be finding ways to improve the skill ceiling, requiring players to figure out strategies for improving their score. One approach to doing this would be reduce the luck factor, such as ensuring that enemies do not spawn too close to you. Another approach would be to increase strategy by making it possible to lose the opportunity to shoot a mushroom that would upgrade your bullet (if you ignore that mushroom for a while).

I like the visuals, it's a very nice art style. Though I think from a gameplay perspective it's frustrating that enemies have the same speed as me. Everything is moving too fast, and while im escaping some enemies and shooting at them - new ones appear from the different side of the screen. I turn away from both groups but they basically are very close to my tank all the time and my strategy is just drive away and keep shooting behind.

Wonderful job on this game, I had a lovely time playing it!

Took a second to graps the exact details of movement, but I got the hang of it, and it was a (fun!) bit of a challenge getting to the 4th level of bullet scale.

Visually, the game looks good, the style is consistent and all elements are easy to read - so good work!

Overall, a great experience!

This is really cool, and I love the story behind it! Maybe there could be a little more content, like different types of enemies, tank upgrades, or different kinds of terrain, but I also like that you put in the effort to make it feel polished and non-buggy. I hope your very talented family can continue to make wonderful games like this in the future :)

The art really stood out. Great menu and tutorial screens. I found it a bit challenging with the speed of the enemy spawn rate but solid game aside from that!
