the novelty of shooting on a train delayed this a bit but sooner rather than later i found the easiest way to win and the game became boring

Absolutely we are working on and taking in everyone's valuable Insite on how we should balance it going forward. Even though this issue is very apparent.

Brings a whole new meaning to on rails shooter 😜

Really enjoyed the shooting mechanic itself, very satisfying, and the concept I think is really good. The enemies need work (which I guess you know already), the path finding means just running the train fast makes you invulnerable and the buildings in later levels start to get in the way. I really loved the idea and it was fun to play!

The default mouse sensitivity was a bit high for me, but it could be my settings.  Overall a great game.  I love the lore implications with the set design.  The idea of a scale model train you keep adding carts to is a creative use of the jam's theme.  I also thought the gmtk banner was a nice touch as well.

Yeah I agree about the sensitivity.  We had fixed it but we had a huge Git merge conflict like 45 minutes before the deadline.  Will be fixed if we ever do a full game.

Shooting is very satisfying.  Why is ther body in a fridge who is there why, is there some deep lore to why are u protecting this train from these weird blobs looking like eye

good! i gotta know about the blood trail tho... the basement model is top notch and the level design is very very good.

Ahh yes. He will appreciate that. Take a closer look at the electrical box and it will tell you all you need to know ^_^
