The presentation is very clean and crisp, which is not very common in game jam games. I really enjoyed rolling around. I never thought of interpreting the theme this literally and it is certainly out of the box. I think I got stuck at one stage but overall it was quite fun.

Think I broke the ground-slam by spamming it XD
Managed to give some of the gloves the slip anyway.
Nice work making something procedural in the time too~

Cute game! The idea of the enemies sending you in the air and falling into the next level is very neat, I like it! the art and look of the game is really nice, but I do think the boxing gloves feel out of place with the rest of the style.

Like some other players mentioned, they can be hard to avoid, especially when spawning in a level, where you get somewhat spawncamped sometimes.

There was also some visual bugs, but the main buzzkill for me was the controls. I don't think you should move up and right when pressing w, it feels counterintuitive.

Did you use a procedural generation algorithm, or did you handcraft the different levels?  That was cool! Congrats on submitting to the game jam!

Thanks! I thought the controls were good idea since the Player’s Controls lines up with the grid, instead of lining up with the screen, but thanks for the feedback!

also yes, the rooms are procedural, which is why the spawncamping happened a bunch

The sountrack is awesome, the gameplay is quite fun with enemy and stage that are challenging. Nice one!

Really interesting idea! The punching guys are bit fast and it's hard to dodge them but once you get a good rhythm going its pretty fun!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah i screwed up some equation that controls the speed of the punchie guys

That's SO MUCH fun! xD
I'm not a fan of downloadable games, but yours caught my attention. And I must say it was very worth it! I gave a laugh every single time my dice were punched into the air haha
The only problem I'd say is that the punches are so fast that I could rarely evade from any. Still, getting punched was also pretty fun, so that's only half a problem haha

Thanks for Playing! Unfortunately there isnt a web-build for the blender game engine, so it had to be downloadable.
