I loved this game, while I agree that it is a tad bit clunky at times, it doesn't detract from the overall gameplay. One of the most in depth ones yet while perfectly implementing randomness.
Loved the Slay The Spire influence!
The game is complicated and has a lot of mechanics. However the game is challenging and randomness is too heavy, It's pretty rare to have crit or double not to mention the triple. Maybe It will be easier if I play it longer.
I really liked this game, and especially the art. The enemies were quirky and interesting, and the randomness of the game always felt present without ever feeling like a nuisance. It felt especially satisfying to start dealing loads of damage with the robot card and the discard for energy card.
thanks you!
I loved the idea of having to build the 2 decks at the same time, but the dice deck felt a little bit like just random numbers, maybe having the ability to choose what dice to use when selecting a card could add more control and strategy to the game.
Aside from that really solid work for a jam, definitely a game I wolud play normally with a liitle bit more of polishing and balancing.

Really impressive Game Jam entry! The dice really rolled in my favor on my play-though
2 Days to make this is stunning. Great work, please update/continue after the jam.
Mixed feelings on the roll to discard and gain energy:
I really wish it didn't discard and just gave energy instead. I feel it might need balancing if you do but it would really make me want to use it more so I can combo cards off each other,
Really great stuff again.
thank you! Balancing was hard that’s right, and we based some of it off of slay the spire, but we may do that in the future
You've legitimately got something here, please polish this up, refine the mechanics (something to reduce the randomness of dice a bit at least), and release this game on Steam. No joke if you want to collaborate hit me up, I'd love to work on this game.
The music reminds me of Earthbound and the graphics help sell that vibe which is a good one to go for considering the success of Undertale. The animations were nice, the systems were well thought out and implemented, and I don't think I saw one bug. I want to keep playing (did 2 rounds) but I have other games to rate.
This is the first time I've ever bookmarked a game jam game to come back to and play more later.
Some random ideas:
(I'm not sure naming an enemy "Brazilman" is cool though...)
Feel free to check out my game, we went the auto battler route and have a really simplified version of your game: https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-jam-2022/rate/1620487
Congratulations on completing the jam!
There are a whole lot of features implemented here, great work on the UX. Having the tutorial be a wall of text is not ideal, but I realize there was probably just not enough time to do a proper one.
The game itself was fairly neat, although I wish I could have selected which dice I was rolling for a given card as well as have my current available dice on the main game screen to choose from.
Good work on the sprites as well, there were a lot of animations sprinkled throughout the whole experience. It made hovering over the cards intriguing to see what each one did.
gg my boy, hard sytem to implement in 48 hours
Thank you! We did our best
I feel like this has some potential but there's too much randomness to the point that whether I win or lose is literally a dice roll. Is that on theme? Yeah. Is that fun? Eh.
This was a game made in 2 days so we balanced it as much as possible, but randomness is a big part of the game. I'd say that there is a always a chance a run could go south just based off randomness, but there are strategies to win, like boss hunting for big rewards or energy stacking with the robot and trading post. Thanks for the feedback
