How does your game fit the theme?
The platforms are made of dice and we added this element of randomness to it by hiding the key to the next level in one of the dice.

It's quite a good game for your first game jam, congrats ! Level are a bit easier when you understand that you need to find die one at the top. Moves are also quick for that little dice but the concept is nice and promising, keep going you did beautifull work ! Nice title too !
Really great concept and I saw in the other comments this is your first jam, so congrats on that! With regards to the game, the presentation was very nice and it felt very chill. I will say that a lot of the levels were very easy once I realized that I had to go to the top and hop onto a dice that was 1 because that's probably the most challenging dice to get to. I think the concept of building a level entirely out of blocks that disappear after a player touches them a certain of amount of times really cool, and I think you could further expand on it if you choose to do so.
Thanks a lot : D . I'll definitely expand this in future. Your comments are encouraging!
5 stars! Everything works so well together, visuals, music, level design and controls.
At first, I was a bit worried that it would take a long time to jump on all the dice to try to find the key and was pleasantly surprised when I saw the blocks give tips on what direction to go.
If you decide to build on it in the future, I'd love to see some narrative and new ways of interacting with the dice.
Congrats on this submission!
Thank you so much. It feels good to hear comments like this. Definitely I'll build on it in future. Thanks a lot.
That was a really nice experience! Great job on your first game jam! The graphics were nice and music was a good vibe. Gameplay was fun and a good take on the theme!
Some feedback:
I think the level design could definitely be more interesting based on things like your starting position. Starting near the top left corner allows the player to skip through a good chunk of the design of many of the levels' dice lower down. I think it's super important to consider stuff like that when designing each level to make sure your placements of platforms and stuff are meaningful each level.
To me some of the levels felt a bit same-y with a similar strategy of reaching the top with high numbered dice near the bottom. I think there's so much potential on how to mix up the levels, and perhaps introduce different challenges slowly through the level design!
Overall I had a lot of fun and I think the game has a lot of potential!
Thanks a lot for your feedback. I will definitely consider those changes. Post like this makes me encouraging.
Very nice entry with lovely polished graphics!
I really liked the details like the character movements and the disappearing shaders!
Edit: I just seen this is your first game! Congratulations guys this is great!
Thanks a lot for your feedback. it really meansa lot.
I love the aesthetics!
It took me a little while to figure out that the keys were hidden in the dice and, as others have said, the controls were a little difficult. Other than that, I really enjoyed the game, good job!
Thanks for your feedback. I made it like a normal game. It's my first Game Jam. Now I understood games must be made easy for quick play in Game Jams. I'll improve myself in the Next Jam.
Your game is very good for a first game jam!
I don't think you have to make it easy, you only have to balance the difficulty. I saw in another comment that you said the more you play, the easier it gets. I think it should be the opposite: easy to play but hard to master.
It's always a certain risk to offer a difficult game in this gamejam, because most people won't play your game for more than 5-10 minutes.
At the end of the day, I think everyone's goal is to create a fun game. Gamejams are there to test new concepts. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't and that's okay! That's part of the fun :)
Next time, don't create "an easy game" because that's what works, create the game you want but make sure the first 4-5 levels are accessible, and gradually increase the challenge.
Yeah! I wasn't aware of that before. Its a new expirience and learnt many new things. I won't do the same mistake again.
Fun concept and nice graphics, controling is a little hard
Thanks for your Feedback. The controls difficulty reduced as you play. It was intentionally made that way
I'm no hardcore platformer so a little more floaty would have suited me. However, there is a lot to like about this game. Music, great, Graphics great, It does make you think about where you can get to and how to do it. And of course, you kick yourself if you miss that jump. Great game :)
Thanks for your Reply. It feels Encouraging. I am beginner and this is my First Game jam. I'll surely improve upon myself.
