The game has more depth than it looks! The concept of the board game altering your abilities on the playable side is very interesting. Maybe there could have been a little more depth in the dice part and the gameplay could have been more than just clicking the dice until it touches the other part. But all in all, it's a great job for 48 hours!
Great game, I loved it. I got a score of 149. The UI scaled wrong on my computer, which has an aspect ratio of 16:10 (I think). Whatever it is, the Roll prompt was in the wrong place, and the restart button was invisible (I found it though). It also took me a while to notice the text in the top right. Fantastic work though, they were both minor issues. The music was great, and fit the game well. I also enjoyed the mechanics a lot.
I got 205
Couldn't open it on Mac :/ I'll come back and try it on Windows later. Looks like a fun game!
I see. It's unfortunate that it doesn't work on Mac, but it is what it is. I hope to see what you think once you get the chance to try it though!
Did you try using the itch.io launcher? Im on mac, and ive had trouble in the past with being unable to open games after downloading them myself. I havnt had any problems with the launcher yet.
Zimbwawa you were right! I've never used the launcher. It totally worked. That being said, Keeran, I really liked the idea of the board affecting your playing ability. This was definitely a cool game with a huge potential to be expanded. Great job man!
