Clever implementation of the dice mechanics. Might be helpful to make a clearer distinction between the invading bugs and the projectiles needed to destroy them, like greater color or design variation. Solid proof-of-concept, though. Congrats!
Thanks you so much.
Nice one. The only thing is I wish the dice rolled slower so you can try to time your button press better.
I will surely work on that. Thanks.
Interesting concept :)
Had a bad time in my first run because I missed that you had to match the same number of protectors to destroy those incoming.
But I did like the mix of luck/skill on the dice.
I am glad that you liked the game.🙏🙏
Here's my feedback, hope it helps :)
All in all, I liked the idea but I think other issues really dragged it down.
All your suggestions are right. I am still learning how to make games and it was my second game jam. I will try to improve in all the areas mentioned. Music was added in last two-three hours so it wasn't upto mark. I will work on this game to make it enjoyable and simple.
I didn't mean to sound harsh btw with my feedback but I think it's just better to say what I really think. So I hope that maybe you can keep some of these things in mind for the next project.
Given that you're beginner, I'd recommend that you maybe try publishing your games to Newgrounds as well, if you're not doing so already. Players there are really critical though, but once you get used to it, you can learn a ton. And you also get more plays usually than on Itch.
Good luck on your game dev journey! :)
I like the art style, the controls were a little bit confusing
Thanks, I tried to make the dice roll by pressing the space button, but it didn't worked out . As the time for submitting game was running out, I focused more on making a playable game. I will try to make controls simple in future updates.
Interesting mechanic, need a while to master.
Small nitpicking, the font is a little bit hard to read.
Thank you very much for playing my game. There are many things in this game, which I couldn't pay attention in hurry. I will improve the game in future updates.
Interesting concept. I really like the video style. It reminds me of missile command or maybe space invaders? I wish I had more control over which dice I could use instead of hammer space bar until the matching combo appears.
Thank you for playing. I will surely make the controls easier and more interesting in future updates.
Good game!
Thanks
Cool idea, took me a while to figure out how I was supposed to play! But once I got the hang of it, it was immediate understanding. After a while, enemies stopped coming so I guess I won?
I think if I had to make a suggestion, I'd say make the dice on the left way bigger. I didn't even see it at first. It could also light up the lanes to show you which conga line of bugs is going to be launched.
Nice work!
I am happy that you like the game and thanks for your suggestion. I will surely work on them in future updates.
