This game reminds me the binding of isaac, very well created in only 2 days. I had to reroll the first game cuz I had 3-1-1-1, moving really slow was painful, taking a 3 in speed was a different game than :D, the attack was cool and the style was fine, tbh the sounds were a bit annoying, was not fitting the mood of the game, maybe a music theme more epic or one about adventure

Developer

Thanks for playing! The idea is definitely inspired by binding of isaac. The music and sounds were done in the last hour before submission and audio is not my strongest point. I'm just one person lol.

The concept of the game is really cool! The randomness can either be fun, or make this difficult... Pretty well implemented!

Really like the idea, love the rng aspect of the game!

Nice gameplay with a solid art-style :)

I liked how you balanced out the randomness by allowing people to pick how they allocated stats, so there was still a feeling of strategy/agency.

Lots  of good content in this little game! Olaznogo said it best -- You can simply reload until you get the loadout and level you want. It'd be an interesting design challenge to balance the luck of a roll with natural player progression.

Developer

Do you mean to have player progression between runs? Like a rogue-lite

I admit I reloaded a few times to get just 5s and 6s, then I was so powerfull... Nice game!

This is neat! The random rolls for the stats can make things miserable, but that might be part of the fun

Solidly fun, I managed to beat the final boss after a couple tries. Maybe I'm just unlucky but the rewards I got from treasure chests were mostly bad things, which kinda felt bad. I like the art style and overall felt polished.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Id like to make a percentage based system for the items. Then you are more likely to get good items but for now they are all just rng.
