I loved this game! It was so fun to go faster and faster and do more and more damage! I loved how the level number is shown by the UI and by the large black pillars on the map, and I was not expecting another die to appear at level 7! I had a lot of fun playing, and the leaderboard is a great touch. The music is perfect for this game, and the sound effects never got annoying. My favorite weapon was the AK, because although it had random damage per bullet, it was still consistant.

My only complaints are:

1, the rifle should shoot just a little straighter, but that's just me.

2, the shotgun spread out a little too much.

3, I never used the rocket launcher more than once because of the very inconsistent damage and I didn't know if it did AOE damage or not. Maybe if the damage was 3d4/3d6 it would be better, because you still get high damage, but you can be sure that it will not be low all of the time.

4, I wish there were more weapons.

5, I wish that there was a way to heal. I don't think healing up all the way with one item/level change would be good, because then the player would get too powerful, but maybe every new level you heal a little, or there is a weapon that heals you, or a potion that heals 25% of your health, or something.

6, If you work on this game some more, the graphics can be improved, but it's fine the way it is.

Great job on your game! 5 stars all around!

We were also thinking of using the name Para-dice haha! Super cool take on the theme, I don't think there were a lot of FPS games.  Bazooka was best, and I had a blast (pun intended). Good job team!!

Had a blast with this game! Quite liked the ammo indicator on the left with each bullet/shot being its own dice roll, ran into a bug that stopped the AKs from being able to fire and some sort of impact effect when the rocket hits would have been nice, but, all in all it's quite a lot of fun, nice job!

Very fun gameplay, loved the AK bullet drop, loved grouping up enemies and blasting them with the bazooka. Hopefully in the future it gets more weapons.

Critique

There's not much I can say that's critical, especially given the time constraint factor, but another level of variance or two such as scaled health added on with the increasing number of enemies could  make it a bit more engaging. The only other thing I can "complain" about is that you can't see the score while in-game. Also, I got the fabled wave 19 crash that's been the talk of the town lately.

Thoughts

Overall very enjoyable, I thought it was just hectic enough to suit my tastes. I liked the idea that after 6 (dice joke) waves it would create a new platform, and I would be interested in seeing how far it can go. Maybe my next playthrough of the game. Some would see it as unintuitive, but I thought the bullet drop mechanic was kinda goofy for an AK-47 (in a good way) and fun to mess around with. I also liked the chaotic feeling of your speed going up rapidly. I feel like thats the general theme here, the chaos made it charming in a way. Also, Gabriel Q. Sloan, I want you SO BAD.
