How does your game fit the theme?
"Roll of the dice" usually means taking a big risk not knowing the outcome. In this case, the player has to jump into an abyss without any idea how dangerous the fall will be. Your score will get higher as you get lower, but only climbing the ladder will save it while dying resets your score meaning there's a big risk vs reward system. Every jump is a gamble!

Neat game. Add some more SFXs, juices, camera shake and we have another mobile hit on the way :D I guess some criticism would be to explore more on how to encourage player to take more risk to jump, since the only incentive right now is to increase high score. Could be something as simple as changing the scenery the further you go, incentivize player to take more risk and explore the abyss! Maybe that could be something to add for the next game version! Looking forward to that mobile release ;D

Overall great job on the game!

Thanks! I think you have a good point there, it feels like there should be a bit more variety as you get further down, but I suppose there's only so much you can do in 48 hours. If I decide to build onto this that's definitely something I want to look into!

Pretty fun game! I'm not too sure if i like the way the theme was put in, it feels more like you're just setting a score for yourself to beat, instead of that "risk vs reward system" you are talking about, but avoiding the sawblades on the fall is really fun! And once I learned all the falls, it was pretty fun trying to get a really good score, especially the amount of pressure I have the deeper down I go. My high score is -2058, but for me the game lags A LOT once you get more deeper down, the only reason I didn't go further than -2000 is because the lag was so bad, but I might just be because i have a potato laptop, I'm not sure, other than that though, the game is really fun!

Thanks! You got a pretty good score, unfortunate that it started lagging. In the rush of actually getting this game finished within 48 hours I didn't have a lot of time for optimization, which I know starts taking its toll the further you get especially on older devices.

I wish it did something more with the theme of rolling dice, but this game is still very fun regardless and impressive at that. The risk-reward factor is truly engaging and I think giving the player random checkpoints as you do adds to the tension factor of descending. Great work on this simple but addictive endless faller!

Thanks, I did this one on my own! I'll take a look at your entry as well

It was a fun little time waster!    Falling games like this are always enjoyable.  Unfortunately the game didn't seem to record high scores.  I managed to get 528 for my high score.  Would be nice if it recorded them so I could keep track of it easier and try to beat my score each time.

I believe a catchy tune and some sound effects would do this game well.

Thanks! One of the main gimmicks of the game is actually that your high score only gets recorded when you use the ladder, but I did a rather poor job actually communicating that in-game. The lack of audio is something I totally agree on, it was originally planned but got scrapped due to time constraints.
