i quite like this take on the theme :) but i feel like the platform you move is way too slow for me (im on a 144hrz laptop)
Because of how physics calculations are tied to framerate. A Godot bug causes the paddle to be very slow on monitors with a framerate higher than 60 hz sadly :(

Really fun gameplay, and unique take as well. It's so good. Though the paddle is too slow imo. If it was a bit more fast it would have been a lot better.
But Upgrades and stuff are really cool as well.

Great game! Loved the shaders and the vaporwave esque style. It gave a really nice (or should I say... dice) twist on the breakout mechanics we all know and love!

I actually enjoyed the game a bit, the upgrades are plentiful and pretty diverse and interesting! The graphics are fun as well in their simplicity. I think the biggest issue for me is that the speed of the paddle is way too slow, I would have preferred if it were tied to my mouse position so that I could have more control, otherwise it feels as though you're being cheated by the snail-like speed of the paddle not being able to catch up to the falling die. I also don't understand how the slot numbering system works and why it's there? I can't seem to trigger any of the saved power-ups that I have. A quick explanation in the description could help. Also, you should add a score so that we can see how well we are doing!

Balancing is hard in such a short timeframe, so maybe the paddle is indeed a bit too slow. However, the game is intended to be slightly difficult while you gain powerups that help you survive (such as paddle speed up).
We have also added some additional explanation to the description we hope explains the mechanics a bit more, thank you for playing and maybe give it another try!
