A very unique take on the theme, very nice. I too experienced some of the issues already mentioned. I think if you fix those and maybe add higher speeds as you progress it would be a lot of fun.

your game has a unique concept that i haven't seen in the other submissions yet

i think i would've really enjoyed the gameplay had it not been for the framerate which dropped every time the next plate was above the die.
this reduced framerate, and the way unity progresses time irrespectively of the framerate meant that the plate was teleporting by pseudorandom offsets every frame which were very unpredicatble.
i would like to mention that this might've been because i played the game without having my laptop plugged in.

besides that, the game was enjoyable.

the presentation was a bit lacking with the default unity background.
you could've put the die on a textured plane or something like that
i wish there had been music and sound effects.
the menu didn't look breathtaking but i think that's really not a big issue for a jam game.
but the important part which was to get something working is definitely there, and if it wasn't for the performance issues i think i would've actually had a nice time.
overall nice enjoyable little game.
good job!

This is the only game like this I've come across this jam! You got the basic gameplay down and that by itself is already fun. Like others have said just adding a few things, dynamic camera, music, a few effects and this'll be great adicitng zen kinda game

this is honestly a really creative game on the theme.

Idk if it's a me problem but the fps was abosultely horrible. It kept lagging as well.

Anyway that might just be a me problem so here is my review:

- idea very creative

- camera might want to be improved upon as well

- added soundeffects ofc are a great idea.

- I like that the part that will be sliced of is colored.

Very fun game! and I am hoping for a post gamejam update

Kinda neat, weirdly addictive! Could maybe use a little more variety, like variable distances and speeds and whatnot.

This game's pretty fun. I enjoy stacking minigames, and this is no exception. Some suggestions I have:

  • The tiles should speed up as the game progresses.
  • Play a sound that changes in pitch, depending on how large the chopped off section is. Therefore, the player will hear a sound that correlates to how much they lost that turn.
  • The stacking tiles should start at random distances away from the playing area to avoid macros cheesing the game. Using a macro, I could get 50 points even though the tiles had gone off-screen (my highest legit score was 38).
  • Speaking of... Fix the camera bug. Tiles past 40 don't render at all. Maybe move the camera up with each tile, so the game could theoretically go on for as long as the player could last.
