Awesome game! It amazing to see such strategical depth in a game jam game, and I was thoroughly enjoying every part of the game! A very well executed take on the theme.

My only criticisms would be on the UX side of things.

  • Fast forward would be really nice to speed up the non interactive battles
  • Better explanation on the various stats on die as they aren't too clear on what they do (having more swords doesn't mean more damage and the shield/damage taken is a bit unclear on how/why it is interacting that way until you are well into the game)
  • More detailed tutorial
  • A way to get more economy, I was often left with a lot of choices of what to buy, but had too little money to do anything

One of my favorites I have played so far due to how well the concept was executed, great job!

I love the aesthetic and how much variables there are to think about! Great job!

Super impressive the amount of content here, the dice art and animation is nicely done. Upgrades and recruiting were a fun mechanic.

Good concept, some polish would make this awesome

I like the whole playing on a table with dice and paper vibe. Also this game has a good amount of content! Upgrades, and units to purchase, and overall just a lot of variables and things to consider.

This was a neat idea!  Took me a minute to get the figure out, but I thought it was creative how the die rolls were used in two phases to determine battle position and what that die does each turn.

Cool game! I spend some time to understand the system but it is really fun to play after I get it. Like the rogue like elements in this game that you can build my dice army. For now I feel that the battle is completely random. Maybe it will be interesting to let player decide the positioning of dices.

very creative game, i really like it! :) I love how you can arrange your die for the next battle. And the tutorial video was easy to understand, too. Although, this game could use some more visual polish. But other than that, I love the idea and it executed very well. Great job! :D

like others are saying, NEEDS a tutorial level. other than that, very creative, and am keeping on my computer. 4/5/4

Once I understood how to play, it was very fun! Nice creative idea. This has already been said, but you should definitely add a tutorial level.

Really difficult to understand at first which means you could definitely benefit from a tutorial level.

Ofc I found the tutorial video but having just a short introduction in game would be great.

The visuals could also be greately improved upon like the Titlescreen or adding die rolling animation, attack animations, heal animations blah blah you get the gist.

Something that I dont quite understand is why you can only shop, recruite and co once per "level", I go into the shop, see i cant afford it and then I cant go back in again. Idk if that was intentional or not but it didn't make sense to me.

And especialy since this is a game idea which has been used alot in this gamejam I recommend coming up with a mechanic that would make yours stand out.

The game is fun, just definitely need polishing.

Really fun game! Definitely takes a bit to learn the mechanics but once you do its solid. Battles maybe took a bit too long so a 2x speed button would be really helpful to get through them especially when you know you're going to win and just want to get to the next set of events.

This game was hard to understand at first but then it became fun.

The concept is really nice! The presentation could be improved, but for a jam game, that's pretty expected. Great work!

Very nice game, at first i didn't really understand, but in the end it was really fun to play. I really liked the esthetics of the game! Good job!

I will not lie entry in the game was a bit rough.. The ambiance help you diving in it tho ! The idea behind is really great, like an old shool dice game ! I really liked it but it needs a lot of graphics and feedbacks pollishing ! Good job !

The system was a little confusing at first before reading the tutorial, but after that it is quite fun and strategic. Holding the dice after you roll them and buying more rerolls is a nice touch that gives the player more agency. The graphics also have a very cohesive style.

There seems to be a bug (at least in the Windows version) where you can only open the shop once at each level you reach and the shop, rest, and recruit buttons duplicate when you level up. Although choosing to rest/upgrade early vs risking your party for later does add an extra layer of strategy. A restart option after game over would be nice.

Aesthetics were great. Totally felt like playing an old school paper RPG, especially with the checklist UI. It took a little bit to understand but I totally appreciate that you took the time to make a tutorial video, that really helped. I played for longer than I thought I would so good job!

I was never really sure exactly how the battle system worked; having an in-game tutorial level or something might've helped.  But the concept behind the game is really interesting.

a little difficult to understand how to play, but I found the idea interesting and I think that with a little more time spent on it, it can become a very cool game. Thank you for rating our game =]

I really enjoyed spending some time figuring your game out today, it has a very unique autobattler system. It took me a while to get the hang of it, but I think there's a good bit of strategic depth to it!

I'm on camera trying your game here if you'd like to see, a timestamp link is in the description!
