I like it. One suggestion is maybe to have a limit on how close the enimies can spawn to the player, I kept feeling like they were appearing on top of me.
100% agree, unfortunately we did not have much time to play test so we missed this. But in the future I would make sure enemies cannot spawn on the player. Thanks for playing and providing feedback!
Fairly punchy combat, rolling the death laser and then sweeping the screen clear was consistently enjoyable. The music vibes rather well with the experience.
The game is really fun and quite addictive actually. It is quite hard but I kind of like that. The pixel art and the music are top notch too!
nice weapons variety. at one point i got a scythe and was surprised, didn't see that coming.
the music is really good and the SFX works well. the art could use some polishing, especially the attack animations. i like the fact that all weapons are balanced, so there's constant variation in the gameplay without raising the difficulty for the player. overall, it's a pretty difficult game, but i'm assuming that's because of time constraints for playtesting. congrats to the team!
Could only survive for a couple of seconds but does show promise
