The game is ok. The music is nice and the art is ok. However, I did stumble upon some problems about the game. Projectiles from the player and enemy pass through walls so the game basically becomes a clicking simulator where you click enemies and watch them slowly die. Another thing is the lack of player feedback, there is no indication of how much health or how much damage you have dealt to an enemy. And lastly, the boss battle music would still keep playing even when I would die and start from the beginning.
Overall, an ok game
The projectiles were absolutely not intended to go through walls, and so the game can easily slip into being a clicker simulator, especially given the fact that they have a little too much health. This is exacerbated by the lack of damage indication, making the game feel like a slog. The boss music is a simple bug that slipped through the cracks. Thank you for playing!
It would be nice if the game gave the player more feedback on what is happening: enemies' health and them taking damage and such. It threw me off that the enemies had a different "front" than the player character. Being able to shoot through walls is very OP and I'm not sure if it was intended that way.
The enemy design and AI are great; they are some real menaces. That includes the boss I was unable to defeat.
You are absolutely correct in surmising that projectiles were not intended to go through walls! This, as well as the lack of health-bars and hit indication were critical oversights on our part. Unfortunately the enemy "front" problem was never noticed in testing, so good job catching that! I was the programmer of the enemies, and I'm very glad you enjoyed them, though the boss was definitely a bit overpowered! Thanks for playing!
The game look really interesting, the screenshot and the game file seem different also WASD didnt do anything and I couldnt figure out any controls
I'm not certain what could have caused this, as controls breaking have never been an issue before, and I'm sorry that happened to you! The screenshot is of the game, of that I am certain. Thank you for downloading!
This is what comes up when I play the game
I believe you have the wrong game, as that one is titled "Roll The Dice". This game is 2D rather than 3d.
This is the game that comes up when I click on the newell3 exe I dont know why this game pops up
That is truly strange. I'm sorry but I have no idea how to resolve the issue. Thanks anyway!
