Really nice looking game! I really couldn't understand what I was supposed to do, but the soul mechanic was interesting.

Developer

thanks <3

Absolutely one of the prettiest game in the jam. The controlls were a little unforgiving and its rough to start over sometimes. But all in all I think this has the makings of a very cool plattformer.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback <3

Nice game, really good visuals.

I didn't understand why you need arms. Seems they're only useful as a default state, so there could be some interesting mechanics to explore using the arms.

Developer

That already bumps my head with ideas about the arms, thank you for the feedback <3

This game looks phenomenal and has remarkable atmosphere! Tweak the difficulty a bit down, polish the controls and this could be the next Hollow Knight. Fantastic job!

Thank you for the great feedback, we are planning to polish more after the judgement

The graphics are amazing. I sadly did not understand what exactly should I do. Ended up dashing through obstacles and killing the boss just by punching them long enough (had to die few times to regain health). Good job on the visuals, stunning. Also it would be nice if the tutorial texts do not fade so quickly, I once had to die just to see it again.

Thanks you for your feedback, unfortunately yes we didn't have much time to polish the game or work on level design, we maybe will work on it more to polish after the decisions drop.

Oh wow.  The art, the ui the style is just amazing!  Feels and looks like a commercial game!  Unfortunately, everything just beat the crap out of me and I did not seem to be able to defend, kill or even avoid the plants without taking damage.  I'm sure I missed something.

Again, what a stunningly good looking game!  well done!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback, we did not polish the game that's why it's not as clear as it should be to play.

Gorgeous game! I specially loved the background (good job on the parallax and the blurry images!) and the crawly bug that dropped from the ceiling.

The mechanics are interesting, but I'm too  unskilled at platformers and between the controls that I trouble remembering and the invisible cooldown for abilities it felt like the character was a bit unresponsive.

Developer

Thank you Angelalb for the feedback, I'm sorry for your experience I'm willing to fix all the bugs after the judging ends

Loved the artwork! I spotted a Hollow Knight reference near the boss as well if I'm not mistaken, which I'm sure was a big inspiration for this game judging be style and themes.

Interesting idea, lose parts of yourself to get stronger. I never completely got how it worked even after beating the game. It looked your lost parts were put in a ball, which you need to get back eventually but I most of the time I didn't where that ball was. There also seemed to be some sort of gamble mechanic by losing your parts, as in there's a negative to losing them and gaining all that strength, but besides the soul one which directly stated that if I stopped moving I would take damage I didn't fully get it either. It seems like some more feedback about all of these systems would have helped me understand them. Most of the time they felt invisible.

That being said, this looks like a tremendously huge undertaking for a game jam and I'm very impressed by the animations and all of the systems needed for the game to work in its current state. Well done! :)

Thank you Krasimir for the feedback we're glad you like the game, yes the game needs too much polish work bug fixing but that what we could pack in the time frame of the jam, also Hollow Knight was a big inspiration for the project we had plans for wall jumps and combo attacks, but unfortunately we bite more than we could chew, maybe will continue working on the game in the future.
